I think I'll have to get a bottom feeder as well because this thing is definitely a juice hog and even sitting in front of the computer I'm finding it to be a bit of a drag having to constantly drip, but that warm delicious vapor is totally worth it

Interesting! I'm using a 1.5 at 3.7V and I get quite a few hits before I have to drip

He is used to his 10 second drag attys. Compared to those, this is a juice hog

I don't know what the reason. But like HH said, once you get to know you're atty you will know how many drops it can take. I'm probably getting 5-7 before I drip

New HH.357 user here and I'm honestly not sure what to make of this atomizer.

I'll break it down yeebiz style

5:00: Keep burning my tongue with hot juice spitting back up every second hit
5:30: I'm ready to post this thing in the classifieds
6:00: Watched Hanna's vid about using a bridge in the mouthpiece, partial fix.
6:30: Watched Hanna's other vid on the technique to vaping these
7:00: Still getting juice in my mouth but a lot less and the quick consistent hits are quite pleasent.
8:00: Now I'm getting the hang of this
9:00: Try swapping it out for a Joye LR510 - biggest POS ever! Taking 10 second drags, getting no flavor, little vapor and no warmth
9:01: Slap the HH.357 back on and I'm back in la-la land

It's still going to take some getting used to, after all I've spent the last 9 months taking slow, long drags, but I think this is a compromise I'm willing to make.

If you use a wide bore hole drip tip it stop the spitting while breaking in the 357 once it is broken in it stops I had the same problem when I got my first one the wider the hole in the drip tip the better with a small hole it acts like a straw and its right over the coil making it spit

Ok, so we bought one of these and it came in Monday. Hubby's been using it all week, running on a REO Grand, using Cinnamon Apple from TV (I think it's 90/10 pg/vg, but maybe 80/20). Loves it!! Cleans it every night (dips it through some PGA and then blows it out, etc). Only issue has been the spitting which is a bit of a pain, but he's hoping that will resolve eventually.

However, today, it's tasting burnt? He's kept it moist/well juiced up, so it's not run dry. We're not real "atty" folks (a little experience with LR306's but that's it - we'be been primarily carto users) - so just looking for advice. Wasn't sure if "burnt" = throw away? Suggestions? Thanks!!! ;-)

I took one of those old 510 cartridges and hollowed it out completely so it's basically an empty tube. I used that as a drip tip on the HH.357, dripped 3 drops straight through and no matter whether I took a short drag/long drag/sharp drag I didn't not get a drop of juice spit back up at me!!

Are there are commercially available drip tips with wide hole on the bottom?

Yes there are the ones made for the dca are the ones I use . You just got to look around for them . I'm glad it worked for you

brians trick is a winner, just bored out my favorite drip tip and now i can vape juices that used to spit.

I can't believe what a difference it makes! Until I get that DCA DT I'll bore one of my regular DTs as well.

Just got my first HH.357 today. There is definitely a learning curve coming from a standard 510 or 306. Flavor is out standing and vapor production is good. No leaking at all but I am still going to use a drip shield. My only concern is how well and how long it will hold up! I have some 510's and 306's that have been in use for over 6 months. Hope these will last as long and continue to deliver the amount of flavor as it does now.

Ok, let it soak for a couple hours, blew it out, primed, and was back in action - vape was great - for about 4 hours...all was fabulous until....he was vaping along, great flavor, great vapor, all good and then all of a sudden - POP goes a bunch of juice in his mouth and the atomizer quick working. Like...Dead...

So it's working fine and then suddenly just dies?

Should we throw it away now, lol? Or is there yet some other special thing to do to make this thing work? He got it in Monday, didn't really vape on it much till Tuesday - then vaped all Tuesday/Wed/Thur/Fri - and then only a few hours today. I see other people say they get MONTHS out of it.....hubby's a very sad camper now, lol.... (I do have two more on order, but frankly, don't see keeping on ordering these things if they only last 3-4 days. We've followed instructions to the tee!!!)
