I also need to order some resurrectors, probably stock up with four 15 packs... I should have enough left to get me through about three weeks... Are they shipping within a week or two, Andrew?
Was looking on the site quite a bit last week and went to order a few times during business hours and it was still closed...
If anyone else knows, please help me out. Thanks!

Lava-tubes, both kits and stand alone, These are upgraded lava-tubes that read atty or carto resistance, early version of lava-tubes did not do this, also these have a higher amperage output then previous versions, should be here in a few weeks. :)

Heya Andrew - looking forward to seeing what you get on these! Are these the ones made by L-Rider? I'm just curious because I think they are the ones that made the first LT's, and was curious how similar they would be. Either way, can't wait!

In the meantime, I hope you're open this weekend. It's payday for me, and I need some cartos! :D

Karen,
1 good rule of thumb with ALL clear type carto's, Never screw them on to a battery by holding them at the top mouth piece. ALWAYS hold them firmly at the base right where the tube is pressed onto the thread base and gently but somewhat firm screw them on the battery but just enought to make contact then maybe an 8th of a turn after that. If any clear carto's come loose a quick easy fix that I've done in the past is barely and very gently lift up the tube just a milimeter or 2. Drop "1" drop of silicon adhesive (any auto parts store) or super glue on the very very bottom of the vertical ribbed part of the thread base, then as your pushing the tube back down on the thread base light turn the tube as you push down 180 degrees so the silicon or glue make a full turn and seals the bottom from leaks and air flow. Please be very VERY CAREFUL NOT to get ANY silicon or glue up into the actual liquid filler chamber as this would be VERY BAD AND TASTE QUITE AWFUL. If you use a very small drop this shouldn't happen and will be fine. Make sure to wait for the recommended period for the product to cure completely and dry as per the directions of the product to be sure it is sealed and secure to use,but still screw it on the battery from the base of the carto. I know this was a bit long but hopefully it helps you and maybe more people having a similar issue. You all take care. ......J

I purchased box of 5 clear with rest of my order, 4 came apart. I am solely a Resurrector carto user and am very happy, but these clear cartos are junk I do not expect to have to MOD a cart with glue to keep it together unless I have been warned to this obvious flaw. Disappointed to say the least.

Hubseven, I'm sorry that you are also having a problem with the Resurrector cartos. So, it's just the clear ones that are defective. Now I wish I'd gotten black or SS. I bought fifteen and quite a few of them are defective. But the others work great. Since I don't have a lot of money I'm kind of hesitant to buy more even if it's the other colors.

Thanks Bozzlite and Vapnj350 for your ideas and help....much appreciated.

Your right It should work straight outta the box, I've personally haven't had any issues with the clear ones, just need to be treated with much more care then a metal one, just mention it in your notes next order, I'll take care of it.

Another reason why best use syringe to fill, on clear ones people assume it's full by looking at outside,,,center is still dry adds to massive heat generated by coil, burning it from inside out, then doesn't take much pull it loose the bottom.

Yeah, they are so easy to fill using the syringe and you know how much to put in since you have the measurement on the syringe. Thanks for your concern on these Andrew...always happy with your customer service. :)

Wasn't looking for freebies, but I do appreciate. I order all my cartos from you, Boge's and Resurrectors and have been very happy with product and service I guess that is why the clear ones stood out so much. Thank you.

I was finally able to order more Resurrectors! :) I've been broke for so long, finally had a little $$, and was knocking on Andrew's Skype-door first thing yesterday morning.

Ordered 2 15-pk, with a pk of the clear cartos. I haven't ordered many of them, maybe 4-5 boxes total, and have only had a problem with the tube loosening up on ONE of them. And even on that one, it had been washed a couple times and I put some acidic juice in it the last time so I attribute that as the culprit in my case.

On the 510 end of my Ressurectors there is usually a center post that looks like you could put a screwdriver to it and turn it, I just filled a new one and that center piece is different. It doesn't have that cross hatch. When I put it on my battery it won't fire unless I loosen it up about a half turn and even then it pops and won't give me any vapor. Is the bottom missing something? I've had a couple of duds that were obviously doa, because they tasted yucky, but this one seemed like it wanted to work but something was missing. I checked all my others from that shipment and they all have the cross hatch thing. Anyone know of a way to fix it. I sucked the juice out with a syringe, didn't want to waste it.

Julbil, it's probably just a manufacturing defect in that one carto. I had a Boge 2.0 one time that didn't have the little side air hoses drilled. Needless to say, I wasn't getting any draw on that carto at all.

So now, in addition to testing the cartos with a DMM, I give them all a good visual inspection before filling them.

Things like that happen in the manufacturing field. Cutters and drills break and wear out. Operators make mistakes. And I know for a fact that every single part does not get 100% QC'd.

I don't think it's worth trying to fix. Just chalk it up to the cost of doing business (vaping) and trash can it.

Or maybe the dealer will replace it.

Very unhappy with CCV!!!

I placed and paid for order# 12854 on 1-9-2012 and nothing has come.

I contacted CCV via their message area on their web site on 1-30-2012 telling them that I havent received anything. Not even an e-mail.

They responded on 1-30-2012 with "I will get with andrew in the morning and see what happened. Thank you for letting me know."

I heard nothing after that so on 2-5-2012 I wrote "I still have not heard anything. What could be takeing so long? I placed and paid for this order on 1-9-12. I contacted you guys on 1-30-12 and nothing. Seems like I keep falling through the cracks. Right now I'm not a very happy costomer at all! Please get back to me even if its to tell me your not going to send me anything."

I still heard nothing.

I called on 2-7-2012 and was told their order was just showing up they were very sorry and they would get it shipped that day or the next with a free upgrade.

It is now 2-20-2012 and still nothing. I know the post office is closed today and I don't care. E-mail still works and their is no reason for them to have no contact with me even after me leaving them a message on 2-17-2012 telling them if I did not hear from them I was going to post here and call my credit card to dispute this charge.

I am a VERY unhappy with CCV and calling my credit card after posting this.

Fran

(Update) Within 4 min. of posting this I got a call from CCV and was told it is going to be shipped out today with extras.
