It's not like we get this stuff from 7/11 or walmart,,can't just got get refund and new supply, dealing with whole different country here, so takes some time, they agreed to replace my stock with v1.5-t, but my last email was i'll take the chrome 2.0, you credit me for the v1.5 i pay the difference,, we split the shipping cost. Haven't got reply yet.

Oh dear... yeah... no question. If you can pull that off, you'll have some VEERRRRRY happy clients. Chrome 2.0 is pretty much the motherlode. rofl I have a stainless in another version, and quite frankly, the chrome ages nicer. Plus those upgraded internals... amazing. lol

VAPNJ, thanks for the advice. The 2.0 dual coils would mean that each coil is 4ohms? Just making sure Im understanding it right. Ill look on the site. I was hoping to get a tank that has the metal top and bottom caps. Also I need to be sure its capable of handling acidic juices. I dont use a ton of em but I dont want my plastic cracking on me from tpa ripe bananna flavoring, for example. I diy all my own juice for the most part. I believe I need polycarbonate?

Thanks for the update too on timeframe CMD. Helps me to budget what Ill need $ wise to switch things out. Im on a fixed income.

Nvm, I think I got it from looking at rhe site. I was eyeballing these: Crystal Clear Vaping

Seems from reviews that they are a better plastic, not sure which? Maybe CMD can tell me. I also looked at the 2.0 dual coils, and yep... 2x 4ohm coils. Now Im assuming the price is for a box of 5 but it doesnt say on the site. Any tips on using VG based juice with these? My mixes are generally 75%vg nic/25% distilled water and flavoring. Seems to work well with my ego-c. and in clearomizers as well as boge carts. Will I need to widen the punched hole?

I got my email also. Very well written and I think it stressed the safety issue well... and covers ya'll from indemnity. I hate to see a good company with good owners get sandbagged by any product that is wonky.

I did reply to mine. Should we be sending our units back in advance? Id like to be able to get the replacement as soon as they are in (and checked over by CCV of course). Id rather have mine sent back by then if thats what we need to do?

Also maybe you missed it CMD, what kind of plastic is used on the 3.5ml colored dct's with the metal caps? The dual coils for those come in a box of 5 for ~$12?

Andrew, can we get some details on the chrome V2's? Do these have resistance checking built in and what is the amp limit?

The reason I actually purchased the 1.5 was the ohms meter and the higher 3amp limit.

If there are differences in the chrome V2's it would be good to know. Ive searched for info but the differing info is astonishing.

Thanks

As far as I know the chrome v2s are the same as the original lavatube on the inside, just different design on the outside. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's it. They're extremely slick looking. Thank you Andrew, I believe you were replying to me last page. I am going to sign up for your newsletter now so I will hopefully get that email. I've also got Richard keeping an eye out for the email that has already been sent. Thank you so much :)

These V2's from what I have read have the same ohm's check and battery meter and a 4 amp limit. To my knowledge, these's are the ones to have, a COMPLETE upgrade.

I got the email and i just bought the tube. Now I patiently wait.

Hi Salky, curious if you got you IVM connected to your Fluke Meter yet? Was hoping to hear back from to to verify or disqualify my numbers with your better equipment. In case it slipped your mind I'm referring to post #372 on the "Stop the presses, new lavatube 3.0 is about to hit with a 4amp limit" thread.

Hey Errol, got everything together in a late night cram session, but haven't had the time to go through the testing yet. The IVM (stand-alone unit) is kinda wonky for some reason (broke my own rule of testing it before final assembly!). Not sure if I got a bad unit, or if I have a bad connector or connection somewhere, but my break-out box is pretty awesome. Not the prettiest, but it should be able to do just about anything. I will start testing over the next few nights and post my results.
