I've got transportation issues happening... :(

Met a client at Office Depot to help him select a new printer and then go set it up on his and his wife's computer. As I was trying to leave OD, started it and put it in gear only it didn't actually go into gear. Turned it back off and tried again and the shift knob wouldn't even move out of park.

Turns out it's either a broken shift linkage cable or a loose nut or screw. I'll probably find out on Monday unless they get to it tomorrow. I ended up with their last rental they had also... a 2017 F-150 Crew Cab... hopefully I'll be able to keep it in the lines when parking. :D

Went back to the Ford rental company, turned in the big honkin' F-150 Crew cab and got a smaller EcoSport instead. That will save me $20 a day in rental fees at least.

I also got a call from the service center, the shift linkage cable had broke as I was suspecting, they will have to order one on Monday and should have it finished Tuesday if things go as planned. :)
