Very impressive lens there Redsok!Got a new lens for my camera on order, should be here on Monday. This will be a Samyang 14mm f2.8 wide angle fully manual lens. This is also sold under the Rokinon and Bower brand names, same lens just a different name on them. The reviews I've read really praise this one... it's relatively cheap ( $265 ) and typically compares as sharper than either Canon's ( $2100 ) or Nikon's ( $1900 ) that have auto focus features, so I'm pretty stoked to get it. It should be a great landscape and night sky lens ( think Milky Way shots and similar ).
I hoping to get a good chance to use it next weekend when I'm taking my folks out to see my Mom's cousin or aunt for a BD party. They live out by Black Kettle National Grasslands just this side of the Texas border. Hopefully I'll find a nice spot with a tree, some hills or abandoned building. Unfortunately it will probably be in the afternoon ( not the best sunlight ) so I'm hoping for a few clouds to help make it more interesting.

Thanks CJ!
But I gotta say, RD's recommendation worked. Thanks pal.
And just in time too. I was starting to jones from not seeing pink bikini-clad monkeys...
Well darn it...
Last weeks mowing required that I move the mowing deck up two notches to get everything mowed front and back with just under the 2 batteries ( 4ah and 2ah ) that I've got. I'd also string trimmed everything before I mowed that took up the 2ah battery which required that I recharge it before I got to finish up the back yard.
Today's mowing is going worse. I'd say there is an average of 3" of growth if not a little more with some bunches here and there that has 5-7" in them. I skipped the string trimmer and I've already exhausted both batteries and still have 2-3 passes left to finish up the backyard despite me moving the deck up yet another notch once I got to the backyard. I'm going to see if I can finish it with a 30 minute charge on the 4ah ( normally takes about 2 hrs to recharge it ) after a bit. The only upside is that I get a bit of a break to cool down and dry off some.
