Just finished up a 12hr day taking my folks out to my Mom's Aunt's 90th birthday celebration. On the way back, we took a different route through the national grasslands I'd mentioned, didn't see anything right by the road that was good enough to warrant a stop for a pic... I'm sure there were areas that would had been cool had I taken a few trails or something but my Mom and Dad aren't really in good enough shape for a hike. So we just headed back home.

Tomorrow, my niece's 5 year old's birthday party over at my folks... It was actually also today but the Aunt's trumped this time...

I couldn't believe the clouds that kept building to my south and was heading north towards home, also kept evaporating before they made it. I managed to get the lawn mowed with one battery, allowing me to use the other to trim this time through.

The forecast for next week is calling for rain every day until Sunday... If that happens, the front and back jungle will continue growing faster than I like

HAD to hear this, don't know why I was thinking 'bout it. NRBQ was a big East Coast thing here (AG must remember them). Al Anderson, the vocalist, was from Connecticut, about 20 mins from here. I absolutely think this is the essence of a pop record. Perfect hooks, perfect lyrics, perfect playing and perfect vocals.

Oh yeah, did I say I LOVE this??
