Anyone speak via landline to 'Nita?

I haven't but I did hear there was a reported tornado in Clay County close to Baker County. That should be well to her NE ( I only have a general location for her ). About where she is at has seen up to 3/4" ( radar estimated ) with some locations much lower.

Sunray on the other hand is going ( and has already ) get a lot of rain. The eye will pass to his east quite a ways but he'll still have a lot of the bands pass over his area. Current radar estimated rainfall for locations close by him currently range from 1.25" to well over 2.5" and a lot more is headed his way.

I'd post a radar image but it'd be old in 15-30 minutes and you can get a better idea of it's location with some of the satellite images out there.

I got to practice my plumbing skills on the garbage disposal finally today...

Most of it actually went pretty smoothly once I got the plastic nuts loosened that someone had way overtightened. First I had to pick up a 12" channel locks since the one I had was too small to get a grip with ( these didn't have the tabs on them like some do ). I just had to take that part slow so I didn't chew up the existing nuts. I probably spent twice the amount of time than it should have taken had they just tightened the nuts enough.

Where I had trouble was with the new style "ez mount" system. Basically the instructions didn't explain it very well. The bottom of the sink flange has a groove in it and the thick rubber gasket that goes on the bottom does also. So it appeared that the groove in the gasket should fit into the groove in the sink flange... but that's wrong. That groove on the gasket only mates to the bottom of the sink flange. Doing it the way I thought it went ( ie the wrong way ), the part that you are suppose to rotate to tighten the disposal onto the flange wouldn't engage far enough. I probably fought that for an hour ( at least it seemed that long ). I finally searched on youtube and found a video... something I should have started with since I finished it in less than 5-10 minutes after I figured out the right way.

In the end, the ez mount is a little easier... but the older 3 bolt method isn't all that hard either so I'm not sure much was gained.
