RD, the comparison chart was helpful, thank you.
Moon, I "think" I'm kinda liking the iMac 21.5 with the higher processor. But dang, S. Jobs is expensive, I mean comparatively. Still haven't made up my mind if I want a iMac AND an iPad, or a PC AND an Ipad, or a combo of both.

Maybe I'll just buy another guitar instead.....

Yeah... a Mac vs a comparable ( quality wise that is ) Windows system is 2/3's of the cost of the Mac's. The problem is that finding prebuilt Windows systems that are using high quality parts like Apple is using. If you plan to build yourself ( or have one custom built by a reputable tech ) you can ensure what quality is going into the system... but off the shelf units, it's hit or miss.

An example, I had a client wanting me to upgrade a computer they'd gotten from Dell that was ( according to Dell ) a higher end computer. Turns out it had a nonstandard 280w power supply and Dell didn't provide any higher wattage PS's that would work with the motherboard... which meant they couldn't even add a decent graphics card into the system ( a decent graphics card will require at least 400w and a high end graphics card 500w + ). Of course I could have added a SSD into the system and got it to load Windows and other programs and files faster... but it wouldn't have helped much with the CAD/CAM work they needed to do that required at least a decent video card.

If you don't mind doing a little bit of assembly ( or know someone you can trust to do it )... You can save a lot on a quality Windows system... but that's a big if for some folks.
