Moonies shelter is having lockdown at 8 pm, no more going outside to vape or smoke. Then at 11pm everyone has to be in their rooms. They having peoples sleep in the classrooms of the school. :smokie:

They're sayin dat when it hits Cape Canaveral it 'mite' weaken to a Cat 3 as it travels up the coast now. It's still a Cat 4 hurricane fer Moonie. St Augustine, the oldest city in the country has had a total manditory evac. The storm surge there they are saying will be 10 feet with waves added on top of that. The city sits low anyway and there's much concern about the historical buildings surviving this which is very sad :( St Augustine is a Beautiful town. Now they saying with their that power outtages map, it's like the state split down the middle with people towards the east no power and the people to the west with power. Outtages frum wind damage more then flooding.Local government has been on the news stating that IF you stay where they've had evacuations ordered that there WILL BE NO HELP available to you and this storm WILL KILL YOU if you are in danger areas. It's a huge massive storm. It's taken many lives before it even got to us.
:nun: For Everyone in it's path :nun:

You said it, RDS! :thumb:

My GF says that Matthew appears to be moving away from VA now, so that's good. I've told her about Moonwater, the chimp lady, N Classy waiting out the storm.
they saying the storm will make a turn almost in a total circle and "may" effect southern Florida again before it dies out. Let's all hope it doesn't do that. We want it out to sea and away from people !!!! :smokie:

The hotels in Georgia and Alabama are filling up including the ones here in Auburn and traffic on the highways is backing up in spots.
some of the highways they opened the SOUTH bound lanes to NORTH bound so they could get ALL the lanes to go north for evacuation
