sometimes the military camp near here tests different planes and stuff. Dey usually tell peoples that they are testing on such and such a day. Butts sumtimes dey don't. I been shocked outta my chair more den once wiff the somic booms and it feels likes a earthquake too whem dey do that

Good Morning Folks...

Jmur... hate to hear about the pre-amp... the other stuff sucks also but I'd heard about all of that already...


Myself, I ordered up a batch of stuff I needed for work and home... but I also ordered something just for me. I ordered a t-ring adapter that will let me use my camera with a telescope. I have one for my old 35mm film camera already but hadn't got one for the new camera I got last year. While I've got a 6" telescope that it will likely work ok on, it's a heavy sucker and I don't like to carry it places ( probably in the 60-80lb range with the tripod if I were to guess )... I hope to be able to get a 5.1" telescope and tripod that'll only weigh about 35lbs and then later, a motor drive to take long exposure star shots with. One thing at a time... hopefully it won't take long to get to where I want.
