Hey flashlight gurus! We found out the hard way in the flood tonight that all our flashlights were stolen. Any suggestions for new ones? Water resistant at least if it rains on them and reasonable cost are all my major concerns. I would prefer aa, instead of photo battery but if the right light has photo batteries I won't turn it away.

Sorry Ol, can't "like" that post:(.
So obviously you did get hit with the storms. I'm hoping the damage wasn't extreme, but then, ANY damage hurts...
Far as lights, I've been real happy with SecurityIng's line. Been using bout 4 or 5 for the past few years and never had any prob. Really great illumination, sturdy build. Only they take 18650's.

Here is an inexpensive one I like... although I haven't tested how water resistant they are. Uses either AA or 14500 lithium rechargeable batteries. Claims of 248 lumens ( I usually don't believe the claims but they are bright ).

Dollar store or eBay. I bought five flashlights with batteries for five dollars. Save your money for new toys to screw onto your mods.
Water resistant? https://www.amazon.com/Ziploc-Snack-Value-Pack-100-Count/dp/B003UEH9W0
