Good afternoon y'all, hope we're all having a great Saturday. :D I've been napping here too, by the way.

Speaking of flashlights, I keep seeing that ad for the Bell & Howell Tac-Light on TV when I'm at work. Pretty impressive that they ran one over with a Humvee and it survived! Not to mention getting frozen and dunked in boiling water!

    Hey everybody!
    Thanks for the light suggestions.
We are gearing up for another round of rain. We just got caught off guard last night. We didn't know it was coming at all. Haven't watching or reading the news. We were out at the store and had bought a whole car load of stuff. Then the water features on the property started overflowing. My unders were even soaked. So I am just not gonna wear them tonight. :pervy:

This is something new for you, no?

    Great shot.

    Thanks...

The only "new" part is the method I'm using to achieve focus on the Moon is so much better. Before, I was almost guessing at it because the Moon on the back screen ( which I have magnified ) is so over exposed causing a lot of glare so no detail is seen... now I can see what the focus actually is by setting the exposure compensation down 5 stops, usually only used in auto modes, I'm using it in full manual just to decrease the screen brightness down to where I can actually see details on the Moon.

Before I'd probably take 30+ shots ( focusing between each ) to get a good shot... now I can get it almost right off the bat. I'll still take several shots, but only to bracket the exposure so I can pick the one with the contrast I'm wanting. I could probably get it in one maybe two shots, but I'll take 5 just to make sure.
