It's about 42-45 minutes until the partial lunar eclipse for those interested... they estimated it to be at about 7:44pm Eastern, 6:44pm Central

I would watch, but it's almost time for bed for me and I remember catching the last lunar eclipse a year and a half ago. As it is, it's still pretty light outside right now so I'm not sure how much I'd be able to see of the sky show tonight anyway.

The Moon is just over the horizon right now... so it'll be a bit before the partial eclipse starts and hopefully it'll be above any tree line that may be by you... mine will be really close
The comet doesn't come up until around 1:20am ( Central time ) in the eastern sky and will need binoculars to view it... Look for a fuzzy green ball sort of like the one in this shot I took of another comet a few years back.... in the right center of the frame... Viewing will be much better the closer to 3am you can stand to wait

yes it is, i got one small cloud crossing the moon now but it all be gone in a few minutes other than that clear clear clear, and yes its crisp too ,,,,,, nice weather r
