The Moon was in the tree's here ... but I'm about to check out what I did get and see if any came out worth a shot or not. I did get some after sunset shots that may be cool... again I'll find out after I preview those
It wasn't a blockage...it was more like a brownish shadow going over the moon

Ok... as I thought, the eclipse portion was a bust due to the tree's... here is the best of what I got, I'm not sure it even has the eclipse ( too many limbs in the way. ) It was sort of cool looking with the clouds that were in front of it
In fact... it was better with a wider angle and an exposure to show the color of the sky instead of being able to see the Moon... this is later on after the eclipse once the Moon had rose a little further

... I suppose that goes a long ways to explaining the debate about... vanilla and chocolate... Everyone has a different perspective on stuff.
Just checked on FB... currently that one has double the likes even...
although that is a tough way to judge things since FB will reorder pics according to whatever rules they use, so pics that aren't clicked "like" on move down and people don't always scroll all of the way...
Typical of forums ... the shot of the Moon in the trees... the background ended up darker than what I have on the computer. This is a test attempt to see if I can adjust up the exposure and drop the highlights a little to compensate for that... crosses fingers...
