Caught an episode this morning of one of my favorite shows, Chasing Classic Cars. The host, Wayne Carini tracks down some truly awesome vehicles from all over. Anyway, this episode was about John "Hawkeye" Hawkinson. Carini's father was a good friend of his. Hawkinson was the grandson of the co-founder of Pratt and Whitney. Pretty much gave up everything to go live a real simple life in the Adirondacks. Fascinating man!
