I got back to my place yesterday, and my folks are heading back home now. I did get to have breakfast with them this morning. I hope they have a safe trip home.

I'd love too... but...

I'm in the middle of creating a new spreadsheet for a company that keeps environmental and other data for a bunch of oil well sites. Their old one doesn't work properly in the newer versions of Excel ( currently it's running in a 2003 version ) and is overly complicated to maintain. They've got a ton of old oil well data they have to keep and they are worried the old computer may not be long for the world, so we're trying to address the issue before it's a problem.

I'm trying to modernize it and instead of doing their old way with a half a dozen sheets worth of static data and displaying it in 50+ separate static graphs for each oil well site... I'm putting it into a single table of data ( or maybe two ) that we can then dynamically select what is shown in their graphs and charts... Then I can make just a couple of graphs that can dynamically show data from a single oil well that is selected from a drop down list.
