Well I did it, broke down and bought a new a confuser. After 7 years of life, work, play, MoonLit frivolities and being dragged around the country it has become evident that My old MacBook was just too old & tired. Yes RDS I'll admit even Macs run there course of being un-aggravating, and mine has done so.
I ended up going with what I originally had a MacBook Pro 13" (without the touch bar).
Less than a day in to it, I really like it.
It has Thunder Bolt 3 USB-C instead of the once? standard USB ports so that means new cables, or adaptors, so that is what it is.
And with My Apple ID and iCloud usages the set up this thing was insanely easy (bookmarks, passwords, documents folders & such)
