It also could be that the ego batts use a regulated chip in them that is getting blown out by the cartos. I got some ego 1100s from penny smokes on a fire sale deal and I notice that the batterey starts to do weird things and won't work properly with the crystal clear vaping dual coils and the resurrectors and the gogo dual coils. If I put on a boge 2.0 ohm carto the battery works fine. I'd check this avenue out more thoroughly before I start a war with the Chinese vendors. Egos are known to be finicky about the cartos they accept. Try the cartos on different batts (Even rivas) and see if you get the same results. I'll bet it's the ego batts, eric.

I have now heard of more than 6 different people (two of us in Go-go nation alone) who have ruined more than one eGo on this carto and someone posted a pic of a torn seal, (I'll try to link the thread later) so it might be a combination of both?
bad quality and funniness with the ego?

could just be a rotten pairing? I don't really know for sure, you might be 100% right... but thus the warning and me never selling them again online. Better to be safe than sorry, besides, it's really bugging me that I might have sold something that cost people batteries they paid good money for.

That's crazy to hear this because just yesterday my Ego VV would no longer fire my Boge 2.0 cartos.I get my cartos from Crystal Clear.Ive just put it off about taking it apart and checking the wiring to see if anything has come loose.I will check a carto from somewhere else and see if it is the carto or the battery and will edit and post the result.


EDIT....Its my battery,I tried 3 different type cartos and none would fire even after raising center post.So I guess its soldering time for me oh joy!!!!

Yeah Gormly it is totally disgusting that they even sold those to you knowing that this problem existed.

What really gets my goat is that although I may sound like a bit of a conspiracy theorist to say this. I know for a fact that the ones I have from another vendor that I won in a contest have been running on my Mothers and Wifes Egos for over a month. They were a new product that they wanted to get some publicity on so they had a contest to win a free pack. I entered and I won, and the same five we got are still going strong after over a month of use. So what I am thinking and this could be true or not be, but I think the manufacturer may have sent you and older version of them where the problem had not been corrected. If this is the case then that is just very poor business practice on their part. Or the other possibility is that they were sent out from the older stock by mistake. I know that I am definitely not using them anymore and I am switching to the other cool looking LED Ones you have


Either way, it is just Abhorred that it happened to your shipment, because when it comes to True and Honest Caring about your customers, You Are tops on that. No One can argue that, you go the extra mile to make all of us happy on every occasion. There are very very few that do this. There are some but Y'all are a very rare breed and one that should have the manufacturers knocking down your door and bending over backwards to make sure that everything you receive is absolutely perfect with zero discrepancies.

That is awesome Brother, it is so nice to be able to make little creations with the kiddies. I can't wait to see them Bro. Oiy, having a heck of a time putting a polish on these boots for training tomorrow. It is really not easy to shine a set of steel toe boots that have been through the ringer more times than one LOL They have big gouges in them and such that I am filling in with polish. Gotta love my Grandfather for teaching me the fine art of spit shining

Hey guess what I just made?I'm calling it the Switch.It has both a 510 connection and a 808D connection.One is on one end and the other on the other end.Its a work in progress but here are 2 crappy photos of it.They both will run off one 900mah battery.I still have not connected all the wiring yet but if it works like I hope it will be a crazy awesome mod.I will be doing the same thing with a Go Go and a 510 if this works.So you all saw it here first.I'm the originator of this prototype as this is the only one out there LOL.

WOW, That is insane, PBusardo just posted a video on something called the Swtchback or some crazy name like that and it is right along this same line. Except it has dual 510 connectors instead of one of each. But it only lasts like 4 hours. I think he said it was made by Boge. I Think I like your idea better Chopper, two different connectors means added versatility.
