I think most factories in southern China that are busy will open in the next few days, by Feb. 6 at the latest. The holiday break has become shorter over the years.
Still, it takes a week or so for things to ramp up again after everyone gets back to work. There's usually a lot of turnover in the workforce.

Last couple of days I have been trying to contact the merchant account supplier.
The ecig industry is being squeezed out.
I have lost my merchant status as has many other ecig providers.
They have all of my money on hold.. not deposited in my account over the last 3+ weeks
This is the money I use to pay for orders and have items shipped.
I can no longer accept CC payments on my website via PayLeap until they find me a new payment processor. They said "weeks not days"
Add to that the money the bank is "holding" and I am pretty much out of business.
I am not sure what to do, I am sick to my stomach over this. I put so much of my own money into this venture that this is serious stuff. This is not how I envisioned this turning out, things were going so well.
I will keep you all updated with what I find out but if I do not get the money back, there is no business.
I can't afford to buy stock again out of pocket. I do still have the Jumbo Batteries, the Dual coil cartos and a few other things that are paid for but after that, unless things get fixed, that's it.
I hope it gets fixed, I expect it to get fixed but I just do not know for sure.
The people I have talked to said a lot of merchants will be dropped this week and next a they go through them.
for now, I will put a pay by check option on the website, for current customers orders will be shipped as normal and you can just send the check, for new customers it won't be processed until the check clears.

If you confirm that my transaction has not been processed, can I reverse it then pay you by check.

Thank you but no, please don't reverse it, it will make it worse, they look at charge backs as some kind of evil
I will not ask anyone for payment if the banks do not pay me until I am absolutely positive they have not charged the customer or have issued refunds.
I don't think I've eaten for like 24 hours now... ugg this is sickening.

Real bummer Eric something strange going on for sure. I sure hope you get it straightened out soon. You have definately been a great supplier and much appreciated. I'm sure you will keep us posted if there is anything we can do to help.

I have sent you a small (very small) check to help thru this crisis ... it doesn't come close to covering the savings I've received on purchases from you ... my little pittance in itself won't make much difference, maybe enough for a few boxes of cereal for Logan
I still owe you the cost of a battery which I will pay for with my next order ... this bit is meant for your pocket
we all have plenty of money for our hobby, addiction, toys, maybe we can afford a small amount to help a friend as well

I will find a way to make this work and I really REALLY appreciate the gesture, I don't mean to belittle it in any way, but it isn't needed, not at all.

My 5 year old son... FIVE... found a website selling a special epoxy and mold making materials.
I had left the internet browser open on the clay site we bought the paint from and he clicked a few links and called me over.. lol they had mold making stuff and he watched some videos and asked if we could make a lot of them that way.
He didn't understand what it was all about but I was floored. So we'll be ordering some and see what we come up with. LOL
