Hmmm... I don't think ill have a prob with the 700mah AWs I got, I ordered another set just to be safe. One thing I found out yesterday is that the xtar WPII charger that I already bought only has two spacers and you need 4 to be able to charge a pair of 18350s. I have extra spacers that I ordered today but I am hopefully receiving my v8 tomorrow so im going to have to charge the one at a time, I hope it doesnt take forever cuz I really want to try out the V8 but I want to get the optimum longevity of my batteries, so I think even though they come somewhat charged, ill go ahead and charge them the rest of the way. Shouldnt take too long, I HOPE!!

3-4hrs charging time with a decent charging unit, stack some dimes or nickels and wrap around the outside with a bit of electrical tape in lieu of spacers (there was vendor on another site that actually recommended this in an item description for a charger and battery combination that wasn't listed.), it will hold you until the new ones show up.

A dime, or nickel has more metal than a plastic spacer with a metal pin in the middle

::facepalm:: Ok ive been looking around online and i've seen contradicting info and would appreciate someone chiming in: Do I need 2 spacers per 18350 or 4? If its 4 then I guess im still screwed because I have two and ordered 4 more, when in reality I should have ordered 6 more???!!
You need 4 for each battery

More conflicting info for you... for the Xtar WPII charger you need 2 Xtar spacers for each 18350 battery, so you will be fine, Kalebk. ;)

(yes, I have one.)

Received my 900mah Twist today and it came fully charged. Thanks Eric.

First impressions of the Twist:

  • This thing is a lot thinner than my e-power 14650. Feels strange in my hand, but I am sure I will get used to it.
  • It is a hair bit longer than my e-power, about a half an inch. This is something I can live with too.
  • Now, the great part. I plugged in my CE3 and left it at the lowest setting, 3.2, and my buttery nipple e-liquid tastes amazing. I started to crank it up, .2volts at a time, and found that the flavor was about the same until I hit 4volts. At 4volts, the juice tasted burnt. I did the same for my Banana Mama and Strawberry ICE and they also tasted the same until I hit 4volts and then tasted burnt. I guess I like the CE3s at low voltage. Should make the battry last a little better:)
  • Lastly, I plugged in a LR stardust and got similar tresults. The Stardust seems to have a sweet spot at 3.6volts and I could take it to 4 without tasting burnt. This was also with the buttery nipple. P.S. I love that I do not need an adapter to fit the Stardust on the Twist. It looks very sleek!

These results might also be due to me liking sweet juices, I will try my RY4 a little later and also see how the battery lasts. So far, I like the Twist a lot, having the option to turn it down, from for the e-power provides, seems to be my favorite feature...lol.

One complaint, however, the cone I purchased on this order from DV will not work with the CE2 or CE3:(

Do you have a dremel? I sanded the insides of all my eGo cones to fit the CE2's and CE3"s easy peasy

My e-power had the same issue and I used my dremel to file it down. The issue I have with doing this is that I couldn't get the egdes smooth enough and now my CE3s are all marked up at the middle point from the sharp edges I created. I was hoping to have a cone, that was factory produced, to work with my CE3s to avoid having to mod. It took me a month to get my dremel out and mod the e-power cone, time is very valuable to me..

There are other vendors that carry the CE3 and have an eGo cone that is wide enough for them. Sucks too, cause I just ordered from the other vendor and could have included the cone in this order. Oh well, next order:)

Could you PM me the website to get the other cone?? I ordered a black eGo cone from Eric but it sounds like it won't work with my Phoenix's which is a bummer!! Also, whats the best way to change flavors in a Phoenix/CE3, does anybody know? I have a couple that are working pretty good right now so I really don't want to take the plug out if I don't have to!!!

Just drain what you can with the syringe and plug in new juice. They change flavors really quickly.

If you have juice in the tube you can just use your syringe to suck it out. I just put my new juice in and the new flavor takes over after a few tokes.

lol I'm slower than the Turtle!

Addition to my initial thoughts. I actually love the extra length of the 900mah Twist. The e-power would not reach the bottom of my hand and the Twist does. This means that I am not feeling the sharp edges of the PV on the bottom part of my hand. I am a big guy, so this might not be the same for everyone. But to me, it's a perfect lenght:)
