The eGo c Upgrade 650 pt is my current backup it is semi vv it is tough and dependable. It went everywhere with me and got loads of use, now that I have the v8 it is mostly just warming the bench waiting for an equipment failure or dead batteries in the V8(not likely with 3 sets lol).

Speaking of VV PT's looks like Eric finally got the iTaste units in stock, I can't wait to try it out I've had it on pre order for a while. I plan on using it mainly at work, I am afraid I'll wreck the V8 taking it to work or worse lose it.

Speaking of Eric, did you get my website message about the eGo batteries in my last shipment? BTW don't forget to invoice me for the iTaste shipping.

I can't match up ecf with mail :( plus I couldn't remember even if you told me LOL
Did I reply? my inbox is just about clean so if I didn't send it again.

Your iTaste should already be in the mail, I sent out all pre-orders this morning.

Oh, one more thing. Don't let the 900mah fool you. These are paired batteries, only using about 40% current, in my 4V example. So, you are using less battery than your Provari, which is using a boost circuit and pulling more current from the battery. The Provari needs higher mah, in order to have good battery life. The V8 does better with less.

Now that I have AW's to compare to the 900mah kit batteries I am thinking they are more around 600mah. The 700mah AW is taller than the kit bat by 1 mm. Also the 1200mah Ultrafires I have are more in the neighborhood of 900mah they are 2mm taller than the AW bat. So far at 23hrs on the AW's and still going the 700mah bat is outlasting the 900mah kit bats. I am wondering if the AW's might be a bit underrated.

Hmmm... I thought I read somwhere that they were good lil devices. No??

I got it in from a vendor that tested it, and decided they wouldn't ever sell that thing. I know exactly why he said that.

Now, there have been more revisions after that version, so they may have corrected some issues. But, it was so bad, that I didn't look at bottom feeders again, until a week ago.

Are they all IMR? IMR are usually a little smaller than ICR, since they don't usually have a protection circuit. IMR is a different chemical makeup (and a safer battery), so they don't really need them for more applications. ICR batteries come with, and without, protection circuits. Make sure to always use a protected ICR. The circuit usually adds 2mm to the size, at least for the ones I've looked at.

The V8 900mah kit batteries do not say protected on them but the product description says they are protected. The Ultrafire 1200mah says protected on the bat but is not IMR and neither are the Kit batteries as far as I can tell. Indeed only protected cells for my new toy!

They are all ICR, I believe. The AW IMT 18350's, that Eric sells, are my next set of batteries for the V8.

The AW IMR 700 mah are approaching the run time of the 1200 mah ICR and have left the V8 Kit batteries behind gasping for breath here they are lined up, you can see the AW is just slightly taller than the V8 bat and the 1200 mah is noticeably taller and technically too long for the V8 but it will fit.

Thanks LD and JZXJ for the info! Pictures are worth a thousand words. Got to order the AW's plus a charger. Will the "18650 3.6V Li-ion Dual Battery Charger" that Eric has work for the 18350 if you have spacers? What's a few penny's if they work!

Probably, or you could get 2 of These for a few pennies more and the specs say it will charge pretty much whatever you got.

That's awesome. I do wish the Twist lasted a little longer, but all good I just need one more of them. This way I can charge imagine using the other. Now I have 2things in my cart. The vv pt. And a second twist. Next month I'll get a v8. Having limited funds stinks...lol!

I am still amazed with the V8, its just awesome!!!! I got the batteries off the charger around 1 pm yesterday and they are still going strong!!!!! :) :) I have the 700mah AW IMRs!

Hi everyone, its Kaleb again. Is it harmful to let the batteries die all the way in my v8??? About a half hour ago, I got the Lo warning flash on the screen and I would like to test the batteries to see just how long that I can push them!! Im speechless that I am just getting this warning now since I charged the batteries and put them in the device around 1 pm Wednesday, sooo cool!!!!

Wait now... eric is selling the twist... man.. just gave about 5 new vapers a different link. I'd much rather they deal with eric... off to switch it out.

NICE, man... and $7 cheaper than their sale price.

K.. now just to verify... I'm recommending either 2 twists, or a twist and a full batt passthrough (ie can also disconnect and walk around with it). From what I'm seeing, your passthroughs only work on computer. Just yell out if you have a walking around one that I'm missing. ;)

Yep he has the best price I've seen on the 900. I have a 1000 and wish I would have got a 900 or even a 650 because the 1000 is just too long for me.
