I have prepunched steel CE3's coming in, not sure it would work with this...
can you post more pics?

did you paint the tank or get that from another Vendor?

Uuh, I take it these will be the "raven" innards that someone else is selling? Will you get the whole tank setup or will they work inside any tank? I have a tank for my resurrectors that's just been collecting dust because I use clearos exclusively. When you getting them?

Kaleb, I really wish I knew why they leak for you, it actually bugs me that they do. I just keep filling mine, over and over again, with no leaks. My first box lasted me 6 weeks, they are now finally tasting weird.

But its ok, I have another box waiting for me at work on Monday, along with my new passthrough and E1 tube.

Hoping to give my E3 a facelift, with the E1 tube, because the E3 tube cracked at the bottom and separated from the bottom ring...a major design flaw on the E3, they should not have pressure fitted with that plastic.... It seems that the E1 tube does not have the same issue and the tube will help me reuse my E3 innards:)

I think I figured out why that CE3 was leaking. I tried it first on my V8 and I didnt know it was on 5 volts and I think I may have popped the coil... Would that cause leaking and spitting juice out the top?? I loaded up another one and its working great!! :)

That could do it, the juice wouldnt get vaporized and can spit up. I started to get spit up on my old ones as the coil got older....

Well hot damn, hallelujah, I think I solved the mystery!!! :) Now I am wondering if I popped all the coils on my box of phoenix's because all of them leak. I did dry burn them. Maybe thats what did it!! Anywho.... I have 4 working CE3s from DV and I am bound and determined to make them last me awhile!!! :)

I will be away from the 15th through the 22nd.

I have someone here that is going to process orders for me.
They are not 100% familiar with all the products, some orders may be delayed.

There will be no liquid sales during this period.
Obscure products might be delayed, I can't really list them but the person doing the packing has explicit instructions NOT to ship anything they are not 100% sure on. I have labeled just about everything so it should be fairly smooth so this is just a heads up that orders might be delayed during this period.

I will still be answering email and processing the payment part of the orders and it might be delayed a bit longer than usual unless I get my credit card processing account by then.

OK, so I figured I'd post what I do to the V8 to ensure it doesn't have any problems no matter what leaks into it.

Thanks man, that's a great post for a fix..thanks!

I hope you don't think I was downing ya by posting all that before, I just felt it needed to be addressed before someone fries something and you get blamed for something that is out of your control.

It's a bloody brilliant device excepting that one point of design. Yes, I'm still dripping Bobas like a madman on it. ;)

I don't think popping a coil would cause leaking...probably the reverse is true?

The CE3's that I have are 2.4-2.6 ohms...so yeah, 5v on the Ovale would blow it all to hell. I tried those at 4.2 and it got toasty fast. I run my 3Ω atty's at between 3.2 and 3.8 on the V8 depending on the juice...above 3.8 things get dicey fast with even 3 Ohm stuff.

It's PWM..not a solid steady voltage...it goes from max to min in a millisecond, the average in the middle of the square wave is the voltage you see. So, if it's too high, you don't have time to back it off...it's already too late.

In general, if it ain't dual coils or a HR part, I wouldn't go above 4.7v on the Ovale. It's just too many watts being pumped out IMO. I haven't popped or blown anything up...yet...but I've learned this is a beast to be reckoned with.

YMMV....

If you pop a coil the carto will be dead and won't vape at all.

Another vote for the CE3's here. I had one(from DV)to finally give up the ghost after heavy vaping for about a month. It seems that I will probably be comparing future accessories to the CE3. A definite dependable, no fiddle, serviceable accessory.

Marty

FWIW, I'm still on the first CE3 I opened. Took it apart and cleaned it once already, it's still good to go even after heavy VG vaping. ;)
