Yes. I sent you a Molotov cocktail. I tried to email you over the last few days.
It's ok. Back to football and colored metal sleeves!
Yes I'd never want to piss Eric off. Best site around, he's got my address and billing info also :O

It is a juice, but since it's not one that Eric sells, we don't want to talk about it too much here.
Hell I'll send u a sample.... deliciousness and then maybe you can make your own

Ok, I took it apart and cleaned everything, there is no o-ring...so I unwrapped the other one I bought and took it apart, no o-ring in that either...so i don't think they come with one. I put it back together and refilled it and sat it on some paper towels to check for leaking in a few minutes--maybe it was just screwed on wonky when I unwrapped it yesterday and I didn't notice...crossin' my fingers, because I sure like how it looks on my mini batteries with the thread cover on. Either way, I'll still use it, I'll just get some pretty colored duct tape and seal it up with that if it still leaks.

Yea but I don't have your CC info so you're safe
That's all offsite, I never see it![]()
so the worst I could do is send you a poorly written and spelling mistake laden letter...

I think you can see it in this picture, this one is actually a little out of alignment and I'll tuck it in with a blunt syringe tip.
The first MiniViviNova I had leaked too until I noticed that when I unscrewed the tube from the base it brought the o-ring with it, so I put it back in the bottom, and tucked it into the slot down there. No leaks since.
The ring is kind of an opaque-ish white and in dim light almost looks like it's just a ridge of metal on the bottom of the base, so use bright light. If it's not there, there will be a lot of leaking.![]()
maybe LD will send me a small sample...
Well butter my buns 'n call me a biscuit!! There IS a little bitty o-ring in there! Of course I'd just gotten the perfectly trimmed piece of duct tape on there to seal all around the tube...lol
I first checked on my new mini that I hadn't used yet, I could not see that o-ring, so I took my blunt tipped syringe (thanks for that suggestion!) and sort of ran it around the bottom and I could feel the o-ring in there, so I emptied the leaky one (again) and rinsed off the bottom and dried it out and stuck the syringe down in there and yep, definitely could feel the o-ring...couldn't see it though.
I had to use a magnifying glass to actually see it, couldn't see that it was mucked up at all though, so I just went around it several times with the syringe and made sure it was meeting the bottom of the metal all around. Put it back together and refilled it (again!) and am now sitting here staring at it, daring it to leak.
Actually, not staring at it, I put it back on that darling little VV passthrough that I bought from Eric and am sitting here vaping the schlitz out of it, waiting for leaks. So far there are no leaks! Thank you!!! I would have never ever in a million years figured that out!! Once again, the forum saves me!
Glad I could help and hope it holds. Mine has been fine since the "surgery". I just make sure the top and bottom are snug because there's a little burr on the top of the tube of that first one and if I don't put the cap on firmly it seeps a little. I just need to sand the burr off.
I can sympathize with the hard to see bit too. I really need to go to an office supply store and get one of those articulating circle lights with a big magnifying lens in the middle that clamps to a table edge! Leaves both hands free for tinkering!![]()
YAY Another problem resolved in the forum!
