I totally need one of those!!! Ya think Office Max might have that? I will have to get one before I start fiddlin' around with my Griffin, because right now my fiddlin' is confined to the top of the stove with the light above it, it's really not the best place to work.

Yup. Go to their website and search for magnifying lamp. First one that pops up is $21.99.:matrix: (just really wanted to use that smiley!)

I don't own a pen so you win.
Question---- I have 4, 18350 batteries labeled "made for Vmax" These would work fine in the segelei I ordered? Just thought about it and since I'll receive tomorrow I ask

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

Yes they should be fine, so no reason why not.

Even though this thing is really a baton like you said it's actually perfect! It will be my work VV since today I lost my ego with nova head..
It took 30 minutes to realize it was on my frozen truck and buried under 3 pallets of crap.. Somehow I didn't break anything and although the nova head was -30 degrees everything worked fine :p
I'm pretty brutal with my stuff and this is perfect to break :)

Eric, don't see the Ovale v8 on your website. Some folks were asking about it. What's the scoop?

Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2

the scoop is too many were being returned, many only seem to work reliably with an adapter permanently attached, the constant screwing and unscrewing of the cartomizers squished the cheap spacer between the connector and the base and causes shorts. so I am going to gather them up and try to get them exchanged for newer versions, I still have them will not sell them unless the customer takes the risk, which I generally find distasteful from a customer service standpoint but I have had requests.

Poll/Question:

Is anyone interested in a Vivi Nova that you can remove the coil head without taking off the tube?
I have a supplier who sells all the versions (including the metal covers) that has a new one, the drip tip is built in AND the removable head is extra long so you can unscrew the top and remove it that way.

Personally I see this as a great improvement but want some feedback before I buy.

For sure, I use them until the head is done and it's a PIA to dump it just to put a new head in. It's a waste of juice, ya can't drain it into the stash cause it's diry, kinda you know a different color after you vape it for a bit. Running it dry is one alternatrive but if I could change the head without wasting any of MY PRECIOUS juice "I'd buy that for a dollar" or $2.95 or whatever you'll charge.

Ill second that!

I'll third this :D

Thanks for the info Eric. I'll let them know you're waiting on a new revision.

For the record, I love mine, and have never had a problem, other than the extra high PWM going on, but I've adapted to that pretty easily (there's the batt door issue, but you took care of that one!). BTW, the 3.2ohm head on the T2 makes using the V8 sooo much easier to use. Although, the SR one wasn't bad at 3-3.2 v, it's more fun playing around w/it now w/the higher resistance! :D

I'm usually pretty careful w/everything I get as I get familiar with it, except of course for the Vivi tank incident. :glare:

Being one of those requests, knowing full well that it was an "as is" deal I couldn't be happier. I may want another. To top it off the Segelei VV Tubes really are a V8 on a stick. Got a black and red, just need the silver. Got a White, Blue and Pink V8 (yeah pink, whataboutit?) The only issue is the ease of which you can accidently take it from 3.0 to 6.0. I just leave it at 3.1 to keep from burning any more carto/clearo/vivi's. When they come out with the next version of their V8's I will be at the front of the line.

Today is hopegully the day when "Eric's Mod" arrives at DV.

Fingers crossed.

I did see some bad news in a review by Rnoserous regarding the batteries fitting too tight. This may well be the case, as I notice that when I remove the bottom cap from my VMax the lower 18350 AW remains stuck in the cap. We'll see.

Eric, a V2 may be on the horizon quicker than we think. Good thinking on only a limited quantity for testing!

What do you think a month or 2? I'm very interested in a newer one. Or maybe an older one, which sounds like all I would need is an adaptor to take risk which I have and for some reason isnt screwing into the segelei tube. Works with everything else.

After seeing the other version on the ECD meter, I fear this one will be all over the place also. It is a must for us techies though. Wow George, I think we have an addiction.
