Good Afternoon DV:)
I got my Aga-T last night, so excited. Already cleaned it out and boiled the mesh..If I can get this, then I'll order more mesh and wire. I like the look and feel of it, very solid. I know I said if I don't have to get a mech, then okay...but you know I am checking the KTS and probably should have ordered it. Worried I might blow my vamo.
I've used both a mech and the Vamo so far. I use the resistance measure feature in the Vamo before hitting the fire button, and then fire in short pulses first. I had started using the multimeter before putting the rba on anything, but now I almost always screw it onto the Vamo and check the resistance with that. I also check the resistance more than once during the pulsing, because it can change a bit while you break it in. Good Luck with it:)
Aww, I bet you'd look good in pink, Stoneface. :D
I probably do look good in pink, but you should see my face while I'm wearing it. :glare:

Well, it is now morning, but I am vaping Coffee and Cream, while drinking actual coffee. :D (Coffee Queen is not just an honorary title);)

Good morning all you DVers. Everyone that is under the weather, get well soon, okay?

That sounds delicious! Good morning everyone!

Well, happy saturday DV'rs!! Out being responsible today. Vehicle smogged, registration tags in hand... I still refuse to put the sticker on =O. Had to get a few more supplies this am from DV. Hope Eric n fam are on the mend. Its a nice cool cloudy day here in southern cali. Went into work today, checking transfer openings. Since i work for the death star, i can go many places. Liking my pro tank, but i also feel its an airy draw. I do have a base with no air holes drilled, i might try and drill one itty bitty hole. But today, just enjoying life.

Now it is time to brake out the diy and have some fun.
I was going to do a little DIY, and it all turned into maintenance...so far
With all the mechanically inclined and incredibly creative people in this community and, particularly on this thread, I just had to share these with you::)...
Truly amazing craftsmanship...something we all appreciate no matter what the endeavor!:)
The pencil sculptures are completely amazing! I would never have the patience.

Update on my Vamo woes... I pulled the pin out and might pulled it out too much, so then I just very gently put my Protank back on it, checked the ohms and now its not working either and we are back to 0.0ohms instead of 9.9.

Aww, bummer Kaleb. Hope ya get it fixed, have you asked your dad yet?

I had an exciting day today...my laptop started overheating and shutting down, I had to take it apart and clean it. I haven't taken a computer apart in a long time, much less a laptop. It's working again. Very nerve-wracking, though!

After that was done, I finally got to try out my new evod...wow! The flavor is amazing, it's almost too strong. It will take some getting used to...but I'm almost there :2cool: They may actually take the place of my treasured dv mini novas. Maybe.

I'm sorry to hear this...Let me know if you want photos of the cap from the inside. I haven't finished the brushed stainless steel yet, and it is still in pieces:) so I can take some pics. Can you see the white (+) wire when you pull the pin out? If not, you may have broken the solder where it is attached to the pin.

    Good Morning DV!

Photobucket won't let me organize the pics as I would like:glare:. Look here for pics. It's a little dirty with sandpaper dust from giving it a nice brushed finish, so ignore the crud please.
    Eric:
Any thoughts on getting Sigelei #20 mechanical mods in? I know over 100 people are looking to purchase 1 or 2.
    Just ask stoneface :)
It's true indeed, and it is over 100 people. Most of them are looking for a steal of a deal, but some of them might buy it for a reasonable price. Regardless of the cost, quite a few gushed over the looks. I've been told it's a Roller clone (the Sigelei telescopic is SS with a brass colored button). It is something to think about :D

EDIT: Eric, would you also consider carrying some spare nuts for RBAs? I bought a used one from a very frustrated friend and it is missing some of the nuts for the center post (it's an AGA-T). I checked to see if a DID clone nut would fit, but no joy. Anyway, I have read in a few threads that people have lost them, and they are so small that they can't find them. I noticed that you sell other parts for several RBAs, they just don't include the center post nuts.:|

DOUBLE EDIT: There seems to be growing interest in the Sigelei #19 as well (it has a Gee-Whiz magnetic bottom fire button :)).

Ok, I don't have a sliver of knowledge about the Vamo, so this may mean something or nothing at all. I was reading some facebook groups before falling asleep last night, and came across these lil tidbits, and immediately thought of you Kaleb, so hopefully it's cool if I copy/paste this here:

    *****************************************
Dude #1 said: Vamos are awesome, well built, powerful and cheap. I own three. Only problem is the center pin is very fragile if cartos are screwed on too tight. Expect your vamo to last about 2-3 months before the center pin gives out.

Dude #2 said: do they sell replacements for them? or do you have to buy a whole new head part?

Dude #1 said: It's usually not the pin but the o-ring under it. #60 o-ring you can get at homedepot. Not that hard to replace. Just don't screw down your tank or what ever to hard.
    ********************************************

    That's all I got...lol
