Zooker, you just nut-shelled the entire thread that was linked earlier (Vamo ohm fix)Ok, I don't have a sliver of knowledge about the Vamo, so this may mean something or nothing at all. I was reading some facebook groups before falling asleep last night, and came across these lil tidbits, and immediately thought of you Kaleb, so hopefully it's cool if I copy/paste this here:

Dude #1 said: Vamos are awesome, well built, powerful and cheap. I own three. Only problem is the center pin is very fragile if cartos are screwed on too tight. Expect your vamo to last about 2-3 months before the center pin gives out.
Dude #2 said: do they sell replacements for them? or do you have to buy a whole new head part?
Dude #1 said: It's usually not the pin but the o-ring under it. #60 o-ring you can get at homedepot. Not that hard to replace. Just don't screw down your tank or what ever to hard.

That's all I got...lol

Morning, Sonic.Morning DV Crowd!
Stoneface & Zooker, you guys are so great helping Kaleb. This info may help others too!
Have a great Sunday everyone!

I watched that video tooI just went back and looked at FB again, a Dude #3 has chimed in on the convo:

Here's a video about how to fix the Vamo using an insulator from an old eGo battery. I used one from a DIY 510 battery connector to fix mine since I didn't have an eGo battery that I wanted to part out. Seems to me this fix would be better than using the washer method as it is the part that is actually supposed to be there. Apparently the insulators used in the Vamo are very poor quality. I have no clue what any of that means.
I don't know if that helps or not Zooker, but there ya go.....![]()

I'm good at the nutshell game-- my many motto's in life include: "Woulda Coulda Shoulda", "Hindsight is 20/20" and "Ya do the hokey pokey and ya turn yourself around, that's what it's all about!"Zooker, you just nut-shelled the entire thread that was linked earlier (Vamo ohm fix) , and I believe that is the fix that KalebK will attempt with his dad.
Yeah Babys !"Ya do the hokey pokey and ya turn yourself around, that's what it's all about!"

Hello KalebGood Morning everyone. Just got home from church, got a meeting in a little bit, I'll be back later.
Good Morning DV!
Photobucket won't let me organize the pics as I would like. Look here for pics. It's a little dirty with sandpaper dust from giving it a nice brushed finish, so ignore the crud please.
It's true indeed, and it is over 100 people. Most of them are looking for a steal of a deal, but some of them might buy it for a reasonable price. Regardless of the cost, quite a few gushed over the looks. I've been told it's a Roller clone (the Sigelei telescopic is SS with a brass colored button). It is something to think about
EDIT: Eric, would you also consider carrying some spare nuts for RBAs? I bought a used one from a very frustrated friend and it is missing some of the nuts for the center post (it's an AGA-T). I checked to see if a DID clone nut would fit, but no joy. Anyway, I have read in a few threads that people have lost them, and they are so small that they can't find them. I noticed that you sell other parts for several RBAs, they just don't include the center post nuts.
DOUBLE EDIT: There seems to be growing interest in the Sigelei #19 as well (it has a Gee-Whiz magnetic bottom fire button).
