LOL, you know, I considered it after our PM conversation, but I have enough mods at the moment with yet another on the way. I thought I should slow down on the mods and learn a bit more about my RBAs. I will have to be satisfied with being a "buddy" and not a "mod buddy." :)

What's on the way? That's OK, we can still be friends! Lol.

Off topic and I'm sorry, but I just wanted to say how awesome this company is. I emailed a question Friday evening and got a response back within the hour. Placed an order a few minutes later for some accessories I needed, and it was in my mailbox TODAY.

Seriously - that is AWESOME. Thank you for the super fast support and service!:thumbup::thumbup: :D

Have to admit, I'm liking these evods. No leaks, survive the pounding bouncing around inside a truck, easy to change coils, easy to fill and just big enough to last through a workday.
Actually challenging my collection of carto tanks.
Now that I've jinxed it I'm sure the breaking and leaking will commence.

Ya know I was thinking the same thing!! Adding to that you can color/flavor coordinate, its a much sturdier connection with the ego threads than just a 510, they are not juice hogs and they are compact and sturdy for going out and about with ego batts. ;)
.
Ok, now I've ordered myself a gunmetal Vamo as a backup. Was going to order another adapter to use it with evods, then checked my box and I already have three, so I ordered an extra battery instead.
(Wondering if I'll get another dino...)

Actually no adapter needed on the Vamo... at least the V2. MT3's will not fit my Vamo however.. Gratz on your new Vamo!!

Good morning DV! I crashed early last night and slept through. It looks like I missed some action :)

I'm in the Sigelei #20 Co-Op. I hope it will be a good little mechanical, but there are no guarantees with an untested new model. I was lured by the top button. At any rate, yes, let's still be friends! :toast:
sorry folks been very busy, thanks for the comp mm. ld, rodeo, and big screen know alot more than me. Eric the only way i know to test the protection is a vv power supply, resister and amp meter. not to hard to test- if you have the equipment. let me know if you need help
I had the same thought, but doubts about the safety of this approach. Wouldn't one be taking a risk at the point of expected failure?

Morning Stoneface!

I'm afraid my memory is shot, did you say you already have a Sigelei? Or will this be your first?
Am using my little bottom feeder for everything with a VV 14500 eGo for dripping at higher voltages. But am thinking it might be time for something a bit more powerful. Max wattage with the VMOD is 9 w using a 1.5 ohm carto or atty.... Love the BAM you get with 6V and low res....

not if you keep voltage low, would not be like a dischargeing a capacitor more like popping a coil. the fuse should pop before you get to a high arc.
i have had a vape safe 2 burn up (atomizer shorted out) didnt notice anything just didn't work after the short.:vapor:

Good morning Cnew! I do already have a Sigelei, but it's not a good Sigelei. I looked at Reos and the V-mods, but the squonking seemed to be a little too advanced for me at the time. I haven't ventured too far into 6V vaping yet, but I do understand the allure :)

Thanks Sparky. My knowledge of these things is still limited (though I learn more every day), and I tend to err on the side of caution.
