morning DVers, stoneface never stop learning - life is to short, i would err on caution and use a test rig myself.:)
cnew how is the fires out there in cali (not to close i hope)
glad your vamo is working again kale:2cool:

Hi Sparky!!

The fires are north of us; we are getting a little rain on and off here in the northern 'burbs of San Diego.

By the way, what are your thoughts on using IFR 14250s stacked versus one 14500 in a 3.7 mod (VMOD), if any? Too dangerous to risk? Not worth short battery life? Just curious.

Have also read that the CR123s are the same chemistry as 14250s and wonder if that means they are interchangeable.

Also, has anyone here used the Cisco atties? If so, which resistance? All opinions (on any of these topics) are welcome.

Thanks!

i haven't stacked batts - too much potential for problems, and shorter batt life (1425= 350mah/ 1450= 900mah)
the only reason for stacking batts is for a hotter vape, safer to get lower ohm clero, or vv/vw
more volts tastes burnt to me.
havent used cr123s or cisco atties.:2c:

Anyone know if THIS PRODUCT is actually the number #19 as described or is it the #9 as pictured?

I'd LOVE to get myself a #19... no interest at all in a #9 though.

it what is shown in the picture.

The issue is they invoiced me for 19, showed me this item as 19 and I ordered it as a 19, I see it in their pictures on the website as 9 so.. not sure what they are doing, my pictures from them are different from what they are posting online.

This is not the 19 shown on their website. I have changed the title and description.

You did order the #20, though, right Eric? Do you have an ETA for them?

FWIW an IFR 14250 would be the same chemistry as a LiFePO4 123 (3-3.2V). However, there are also IMR and ICR 14250's out there so if you stacked those you'd get ~7.4V... 123's are also a little taller and fatter. Aside from that, I would second the recommendations of just going lower resistance. 14250's don't have much "oomph" :)

You sqweezed a fart outta me dere Somics ! Thanks I feel betta now cuz ub it

Cnew, NEVER stack batteries unless it's your ONLY option babes, they are not good when they blow up

Yeah, I think you (and everyone else who says that) are right. I guess I just don't know why it's still put out there as an option. Does seem kind of silly and dangerous...I'm not a big risk taker, especially with things that could blow up in my face!!

Cnew what set up are you using now

Just a standard VMOD 2.0 (3.7 V) with a 1.7 ohm shorty carto or AMG Hybrid 2.0 ohm atty from Vapage. My backup is a VV 14500 eGo clone passthrough, which gives me up to 6 V and I use mostly Vivi Nova's with 2.4 ohm atomizer or drip on a hybrid standard or high res Joye atty (3.2 ohm). Mostly the VMOD though, because it is handy. Have had twists, mini eGos, Lambo, and a bunch of VV and regulated voltage box mods. Love the bottom feeders for ease and flavor.
