No, sadly I don't. :(
I was hoping for better news. Maybe a school buddy could download the update and help you upgrade the firmware?
Sonic had a good suggestion...maybe someone in the Evic subforum could help you out. Bummer that this is happening with the new shiny:|

kalebk07, i spent 2 hours yesterday reading threads on ecf regarding the evic. I like the tube mods & xtra's... but looks like the 15w was incorrect. I have a coworker who got his on friday. Sunday after 700 puffs, device stopped working.. He emailed the online site he purchased from & was told that his serial number was a recalled unit. I was also reading about the 1.3 software update.. I love gadgets & tech stuffsss, LOTS. I just dont see a "software" upgrade fixing a hardware issue. My coworkers evic wont work when charged 100%. It starts working when battery level is under 80%. Also when i say works... it takes 4 seconds to fire. So he has a replacement coming in the mail. I personaly want an evic. Looks nice, software upgrades are coming. The mcu is actualy an mp3 player, i could see software custom written for it. Add a speaker and it will talk to you, just not yet.
Off to another Dr visit, this is becoming a weekly thing for me...
Thanks for the info! My unit isn't on the recall list, I checked. :) I think it might just be my mind playing tricks on me, because I have a Protank on right now @ 8 watts that's putting out clouds! Overall, I'm happy with the device. Good luck @ the doctor!!!
Howdy DV'ers! Hope you all have a Wonderful Wednesday! :D
Sorry Kaleb, but not sure how to help. I don't pay much attention to if the voltage drops under load, etc. I put it at the wattage I like, and leave it. If something happens to the vape I experience, then I'll look into it, but so far so good for me. I'm still at 1.2, btw, haven't looked into 1.3 yet. So far the only interesting thing about 1.3 is that the sleep function is moved to the top of the menu list. One day maybe.

Anyway, there's a whole sub-forum on the eVic here: eVic . Maybe there's a thread there that can help, or you can start a new one? :)

Wish I knew how to help.
Thanks sonics! Yes I do frequent the eVic forum! :)

Mine too :D I like it so much I'm getting another one instead of another eGo type batt.

Do u charge the battery by the USB? Do you notice a drop when the battery gets low? I think that was my problem. I can't return it even if I wanted to because that stupid USB port cover wouldn't go back in and it was driving me crazy so I pulled it out!

 Well I somehow forced myself to be patient w/the USB port cover. Yes, I charge it that way, but plugged in to the wall, not to the PC (because it happens to be more convenient to me that way). Twice I had sudden vapor dip, and looked at the screen, and saw Low Power or some such message, now that you mention it. I just put it on the charger & used my GoGo or Spinner instead while waiting. :)

Vamo arrived. Looks like a nifty little APV. I'll be taking it to work to save the wear and tear on my Provari, that has a nice "accent stripe" in its black chrome from bouncing around in the truck. (In other words, a scratch:facepalm:) I'll be sure to put the evods on it gently so as to prolong the time until I have to do the o-ring connector dance.

edited to add: No dino

I like my vamo. I use it daily, the aforementioned o-ring, is that at the top of the head unit? Over the battery i see a o-ring. looks little smaller then a garden hose washer.. Mine is a bit offset, but its up there. Possibly, if it shifts a 3mm or more, my battery wont connect to the head unit (top - switch n electronics). Vamo is gunmetal finish, fits aga t like a glove. Want to know of upcoming maintenance? I can see an evic here, in June, for sure.
To clear the above up = "I'll be sure to put the evods on it gently so as to prolong the time until I have to do the o-ring connector dance."

PS Dr said come back in three weeks. Hurry up n wait.

When I was reading up on the Vamo there were threads about the insulator around the center pin of the connector breaking and causing a short if a device was screwed on too tight. There are already a couple of different ways posted on how to fix it. I don't think it will be a big deal.

    Ah, yes, ......
    Aw shucks, guys....thanks:)
Some people have had trouble with the center pin insulator, which is soft and tends to fail if atty devices are screwed on too tightly. Some have also blamed the eGo/510 adapters that they use. It isn't a huge deal to fix it, but it is fiddly work. I ended up using a new insulator to fix KalebK's Vamo because my Home Depot didn't have the required washers, and it might be a better fix in the end. The insulators isolate the pin as it passes through the body and the washers hold the pin up so that in theory it won't touch the body. I've read a couple of people had trouble with the washer fix and gave up on the Vamo. It's too bad, I think it is a good device and I haven't had any trouble with mine (knock on wood).

EDIT: Good morning and have a good one...:)
