Interview went really well, we got along well, and I really like the opportunity. He has more interviews and I should know something by the end of the week or early next week.

Tabbytha didn't fare as well. :( Vet is now convinced it's cancer that has metastasized and there's not much he can do at this point. He gave her a steroid shot since that made her want to eat last week, but so far she's not eating (she gets up & acts like she wants to, but then smells it and remembers it hurts or makes her uncomfortable, so she doesn't). Although a moment ago I was snacking on some lunch ham (all natural, no nitrates, etc.), and she got interested and ate a few tiny pieces of that before going back to bed. She also drank some water earlier. Hopefully that will keep improving, we'll see. If the steroids do the trick, then we'll try steroid pills at home.

So spend money I don't have on surgery (which he doesn't recommend at this point) and/or radiation/chemo, maybe a specialist, or wait until she takes zero food/water, and put her down...? <sigh> :(

On the plus side, I had a great interview, and I love my Protanks! :)
there is no plus to this. I am very sorry to hear this sonicdsl. tabb i hope feels better & gets some food in. C is not good any were, any place. Probably grumpy feeling like Arnold Schwarzenegger today, darn steroids. Wishing you the best & my home page at the moment is..

Sonic, I'm so glad the interview went well and hope that the job is yours. What dummy wouldn't hire you?! I'm so sorry that there isn't better news for Tabbytha. It is a difficult position to be sure, but I think Lilac is right that you are doing all you can for her. She is lucky to have a caring dad looking out for what is best.

 YAY Somics on the interview !! I'm still crossing thangs fer you and lemme tell you ...it's hard to get dressed like this so hurry up and get dat job !!!!!:laugh::laugh::facepalm:

As for Tabbytha....I know it's an emotional roller coaster with a sick aminal in the home. I've never had any cat but a stray cat. I dunno how Spiritual you are babes, but the belief is that a stray will ALWAYS give the honor of their presence to the most trusting, nurturing & deserving people as they choose for themselves their care giver for their own passing. They will choose the human who gives the most comfort and love as their companion thru this process. I have had the honor of quite a few strays in my life and it never gets any easier to deal with them leaving us. But know that the best care was given & the most love was felt by that animal. Your situation may not be the same with Tabbytha, but please know that she realizes how you feel and she appreciates all that you've done for her no matter what the outcome. My loves to you both right now Sonics

I don't get why Pro Tank bases should be such a hot item? Are people just dropping them all the time? I have 2 Pro tanks and I don't think I have ever dropped them. I have however dropped my Vamos multiple times. Oh, maybe they are snapping off when people drop their PVs. I.m slow but I catch on eventually. Who here has a Vamo? Have you seen the thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cosmetic-mods/364446-so-i-shrink-my-vamo.html? I am so making one of those.

I've never had trouble or dropped them to breakage point either but...This is part of the reason "Maybe", dunno but I've read around...

It's not only that some bases have broken...people needing backups....and dripping attys out of them.....
Some people are making a different top section for these Protanks out of metal but using the same bases. So the top glass section is not needed for that, they sell the seperate glass top part cheap...people buy the seperate base cheap...then WaLa,...they have a new ProTank for a few bucks by buying the parts instead of a complete tank

And the word has spread like wildfire that Eric carries the bases cheap.....cuz not all vendors are carrying the bases alone.

I've been watching that thread. The only thing that bothers me about the set up is that I have to permanently mod the Vamo. I would be much more interested in it if I didn't have to remove material from the tube and could put it back together again. They do look great, though :thumb:
    Hi Stoneys :D
Hi Monkey Mama :D I hope you are well today!
