Good luck on getting disability, Ree! I hear it's a hard process. I had no problems back in 2001 when I applied, but my it took my mother a VERY long time to get it. I think she originally filed for it back when my brother was born in 1979 and didn't appeal until he was in high school, though. She got backpay for all those years, though, with the help of her lawyer. She was partially paralyzed on her left side and had complications due to diabetes type 1. I had a myrid of ailments to list on my application. Main two were my Bipolar II Disorder and Degenerative Joints in my knees. I had to see Social Security's doctor's and the first one I saw was a Psychiatrist out of a very small office. Looked like it was rented just for the appointment, as the waiting room was in his office?!?! Anyway, I didn't have to see another one of their doctors after that appointment as he had me in tears! He was a real

! Told me not to go on disability and keep my job, because I was making good money working. Said his sister was doing it, yada yada. My Bipolar was nowhere near being under control, so I couldn't even think straight enough to respond. Now I would just tell him off! LOL! No way was I going to sacrifice my mental health for any amount of money (the job was very stressful and the people were jerks)!
I know, I did some retail therapy yesterday with my hubby. It's a big problem I have and if I get something he has to get something. He had perfectly good batteries with his eGos and once he saw my Kanger eVod ones, he had to have his own kit! Now after spending all our money, he just told me we need some groceries! We were just at SuperWalmart, yesterday, spending all our money!
Anyway, hope you feel better soon, Ree! Hope you and everyone else have a great day!
