Honestly, I was up at 5am, had to go get cat food at the crack of dawn, that cat would not let me sleep! Actually, I ended up doing my whole grocery shopping trip, couldn't see the sense in going back again later! I checked in a little late, but I read ya 'alls posts while chugging down my coffee. :)

You certainly would AG, cuz I don't do breakfast~~unless coffee counts as breakfast! The best part of wakin' up, is Folger's la-la-la

Ahhh, see? Kindred spirits, we're all about the java beans! :toast:

Caffeine lover's, unite!! Got plenty of coffee cups ovah here Stoney, pull up a couch! :)

Thanks Kaleb, coffee from a friend is the best!

I don't have good advice for that, currently I am so mixed up with all the heads I have, my husband uses an MT3 on his provari, so he needs an adapter, and it's been a flippin' mess trying to match heads with the correct base so the adapter will fit....the coils with the longer bottom part won't allow the adapter to screw on, and my eyesight is just poor enough that I can't see which are the shorter ones until I get them all assembled and they don't fit. blech. At least I can identify a protank at the moment. Hopefully someone chimes in that knows what the deal is for ya.
I have yogurt and coffee for breakfast every morning! :) so I'm on to something...I put the MT3S on the Vamo (which isn't ideal because until I get my new eGo adapter that I just bought, the one I have won't thread onto any device unless I hold it in place, so I'm thinking the threads are messed up on it :() and its producing clouds of vapor at the same wattage that I have it set to on the eVic and its a much lighter draw on the Vamo as well... So I'm thinking it's an airflow issue. This makes no sense to me because before I changed it from an MT3 to an MT3S, it was working fine on the eVic.....*scratches head* Anyone got any suggestions?

You don't need an adapter for the Evic, correct? The airier draw on the Vamo might be because you have to use the adapter, which brings the base above the well of the Vamo. With the Evic, the base is down in the well. Could that have something to do with it?

Well, Zooker it's good you made it back this way. I was just starting to wonder if you went back to sleep :D
Tell that pesky cat I said a diet is in order :)

She's my feral cat. She is the finicky-est cat in all the land. She will not eat what the other two cats eat, it has to be a particular brand and style of canned food~~which by the way comes in the tiniest cans you've ever seen, and they're 80 cents each, and she eats 2 cans a day. She will howl and cry til she gets her meal, breakfast isn't until 5:30 and she was ready at 5:00 for some reason today. It's like she intakes all the air she possibly can, and then lets out this meow that lasts for 15 seconds non-stop. Meeeeoooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....

It must be my day for pet issues. Munnky was outside and I think she got into something, because I literally had to go out and get her and carry her into the house because she just stood there with her tail tucked. We got in the house and I checked all her feet to make sure she didn't get stung or have something stuck in her paw, and when I put her on the floor, she promptly squatted and, well, ick.

^^^^I fixed that for you :D I'm sorry that Munnky was gross and you had to clean the gross :( She might have been trying to tell you something by not coming back inside.

Correct, you don't need an adapter for the eVic. I think the airier draw on the Vamo IS because I am using an adapter, but I shouldn't have to use an adapter on the eVic just to get proper airflow, right? It worked fine before I switched the head and base out for the new MT3S kind....

No you shouldn't have to use the adapter. Did you by any chance try unscrewing that ring around the top of the Evic head? I was wondering if that is somehow preventing enough air supply, that's all. The only other thing I can think of is there might be some tweaking needed of the center pin on the MT3S, since it is part of the coil head itself. Sorry I don't have an Evic, it would be easier for me to figure out.

Thanks for the heads up on the newer T3 bases. I have been waiting to change mine over because I want the option of lower ohms. The standard T3s are too cool for me. I'm kind of glad Eric is out of them, 'cause I ordered some stuff today and they would have been in the cart. :D

BTW Eric, "I'm not in a hurry, take your time" in the order comments does NOT mean ship it so fast that even Superman couldn't see it happen.

I just looked at a new T3S type base...it has smaller airholes than the old one, but they are above the threads so they shouldn't be blocked. I wonder if it would help to make those tiny holes a little bigger? The other thing I was thinking is that maybe the connector on the Evic is slightly larger in diameter than the adapter so that the connector post inside the base is taking up too much room and blocking airflow. Can you compare the diameter of the adapter to the diameter of the Evic connector?

Kaleb, I keep Chobani Greek yogurt in my fridge at all times. :)

Good evening, my DV friends. For many, many years I slept by the clock...school, work, getting kids off to school. Now I am a retired old biddy and I sleep whenever I feel like it...I love it!! In fact, I haven't been up very long and I am having coffee right now. :p I hate the sound of an alarm clock and I no longer have one. LOL

Eek gadz zooks! I'm finally home and today has been an emotional roller coaster! I stopped off at my doctors office because I had a panic attack at the dentist (keep in mind I've never been stressed by the dentist in the least little bit in my life) she was drilling away at this filling that had to be replaced and next thing I know I'm shaking and my heart is racing and I'm crying... Of course I'm the typical alcoholic and tough this out and don't let the dentist know (I had shades on for eye protection so she couldn't see the tears) she asked about the white knuckle part and I let her blow it off as mild agitation... When we were done she was like why didn't you say something we could've stopped... Nope I just wanted to get it over with... Sooooo my doctor is adjusting meds blah blah blah... I'm tired...

The positive is we saw Despicable Me 2 tonight and it was HILARIOUS!

Oh I envy you! I didn't use an alarm clock for years after being out on disability. Now I have to be one for my husband. Thing is, now that I have a BIPAP mask that doesn't leak, I've been sleeping through my alarm clock. He's usually the one who does that! LOL!

How would I go about making the holes bigger? Compare the diameter? Forgive me, I'm not good with measurements! In English please....lol
