Thanks everyone! I can't wipe this smile off my face! :) I think in this season that I am in right now, God is teaching me patience, because I SUCK at it! I got all freaked out that I wasn't gonna get a loan and so I cancelled having my hand controls put on tomorrow, so now I'll probably have to wait til Wednesday to get them put on and honestly, im not even worried about it. What's one more day right?! At least I get to keep the car! :)

That's why I tell people to not EVER pray for patience because God will give you lessons in it!

I've been so stressed out over our finances that my normally really low blood pressure started creeping up on average between 112/65-130/85 now it used to be 96/65 after getting the news of my SSDI getting approved I went to a new back doctor and they took my blood pressure twice because it was so low and settled on 90/65 I'd say this has relieved alot of my stress! If we'd just learn to have faith know remember that God has not dropped us off the face of the earth yet he's not going to start now...

OMG - my parents got home at 8 and at about 8 25 my mom was like "where's Bentley?!" He had ran outside when they got home and we didn't know he was out there! We live in an apartment complex, close to busy streets and he only weighs 13 lbs. Thankfully he stayed nearby and came running after we called him a few times. I was so scared!!!!! He's my baby!!!!

Could the members of this forum pray for me please? I am now going to start looking to buy another car. I'm getting my settlement check from State Farm at 10am this morning. The only thing that sucks is my settlement check is $500 less because the {MODERATED} who caused all this mayhem can't be bothered calling State Farm. She is supposed to call to take responsibility for the car accident, but because she hasn't done that my deductable has to be taken off the settlement check. My insurance rep told me that if she doesn't call within the next week the police will be getting involved to go after her. Plus she will be blacklisted from any kind of insurance for life.

Happy Tuesday. Yes "lite" duty for me Monday included driving my work van. Assisting 3 different field techs & helping one upset small business owner. My knee looks a bit swollen, ice helps. Of to work i go again today, hope to get some PT in tonight. Best wishes to every one this early in the week.

Thank you everyone for the positive vibes and prayers. I found out from my insurance rep that I'll be getting that $500 back. The woman finally owned up for causing the accident. Even better news I found a car that I might be buying. It's a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser, it has 142,000 km on the odometer. The dealership is asking $4,980, with taxes it's gonna be $5500 CAD. I'm going to take a look at it tomorrow, maybe even a test drive. Here's the listing for it 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Trooper, Please have some one check that car out through and through. I owned a PT Cruiser. I LOVED it to death until it started to get higher mileage. Then it was VERY expensive to maintain. :) I had to get rid of it because I couldn't afford to keep fixing it

Gah! I hate when that happens, my little Munnky has done that occasionally...occasionally she goes missing in the house too, we call and call for her, and eventually we become convinced that she must be outside, when in fact she's snuggled up sleeping somewhere, never makes a peep while we're looking for her either.
