Great, now I want a Subway sandwich. Not gonna happen though, especially since I just broke all my rules and had a freakin' pop tart (chocolate fudge) I'm going to feel so crappy shortly, bread would be the death of me. So I will stick with the dinner plan, which sounds good too, just not easy, quick and yummy like Subway. (Spicy Italian with pepper jack on Italian herb and cheese bread, with mayo and onion. omg.) :smokie:

Hi everyone!

Zooker the bathroom looks nice and you will love the curved shower curtain. We have one, but I won't take any pics, as it's a tad rusty now. We've had it for about five years, though. :(

Ree, your kitty sounds like she can be a little hellion. My one cat, Farley, used to bite people's hair when they came over! Very strange! He hasn't done it in a long time, though, thankfully!

Glad to hear you're not a nun, KalebK! Those outfits look like they could get very warm, especially in the summertime! ;)

Well, on a whim, I bought a new car. Hubby decided to take me car shopping after my appointment, this morning. We went to one dealership and they turned us down. Surprisingly, we went to another and were successful. We had wanted a Kia Soul, but they weren't in our price range. We ended up buying a Nissan Versa for me. It's a 2012 and it only had 79 miles on it! The payment is about $30 dollars more than what we were paying on my 2008 Impala, but when I changed vehicles on my insurance, I found that we would be saving $10 on that a month! So, it's only about $20 more and it'll be better on gas, especially when I make the trip 1-1/2 half hours each way to my bariatric center for followup appointments every two months. My husband wasn't very happy, because he said our Impala was "luxurious," but when I saw the Versa, I fell in love with it! Soon, I will be driving it, exclusively, so it doesn't matter to me if he likes it or not! LOL! I also love how I was able to fit behind the wheel, perfectly! No more having to put the steering wheel up so high that I can't see over it! My walker fits in it, perfectly, as long as we stand it upright. Otherwise, I can set it in there with only having to put one seat down in back. I never knew you could do that with cars. Others I've seen you had to put the whole backseat down. So, someone can still sit in the backseat, like when my brother comes with us to places. It is small, but actually quite roomier inside than it looks on the outside. Hubby is like 5'8" and can fit fine in it and I'm only 5', so it's perfect for me! I don't even need a seat belt extender like I did in the Impala! Can you tell I am excited about it?!? :p

Anyway, hubby was up all day and is now snoozing in his rocking chair! I couldn't get him to wake up to go to the bedroom, so I hope he doesn't fall asleep. He had a migraine from not eating until late, so he called into work. Poor guy! He was such a trooper today, as he took me to my therapy appointment, a consignment shop to buy some much-needed clothes, and the two dealerships! He did fall asleep at the counseling center and was snoring quite loudly. The others in the waiting room got a chuckle out of it, as I apologized for him. I almost wasn't able to wake him up, at first, either! My therapist offered him some coffee to wake him up, but he's not a coffee drinker. We bought a couple of sodas at the dealership, though.

All-in-all it was a long day! I'm not tired, though, as I'm still hyped about getting my new car! Hope you all are having a great evening, yourselves! :D

Edit: Oops! Meant I hoped hubby wouldn't fall. He didn't, luckily.

CONGRADULATIONS Tina I love getting a new car! I can't wait till I can get out of my cute little Tiburon! Don't get me wrong I love my car but now that I am having such chronic hip and low back pain it's just to short for me so I want either a Toyota Rav4 or Honda CRV just a little Suv But tall enough for me to just slide into.

Here's a pic of my current car and me before the pain disorder :D

I went with my hubby and son last week. The Subways in San Diego just rolled out a yummy new soup: green chili and tomato. (for those who care: It's bit spicy and only 90 cal/2 g fat.)
Really good.
I wish I liked spicy food, but I just don't (never have)...I loooooove bacon, though :D

Congratulations on a shiny gas-saving Versa Tina. :thumb:

Thanks, everyone!

Ree, I have heard of people with knee problems liking mini vans, etc as they were easier to get into. Maybe because I am short is why I don't care for vehicles that are higher off the ground because I can't get into them with my bad knees. Your current car is cute! I like the color. I would have loved a Chevy Traverse, but those would've been much more than the Kia Soul, I am sure!

Hehe! I always wanted to drive the weiner mobile! As for the Mystery Machine, but I have no Scooby snacks! ;)

I can't wait to drive my baby! My husband is supposedly outside transferring the contents back into my new car. Hopefully he's able to put my pretty Jessica Galbreath (sp?) Fairy seat covers on. He wasn't going to take them off of the trade-in, as he wasn't sure how to take them off. I had to beg him to try, as they are rare and I just love fairies. I wasn't about to use Hello Kitty, no matter how cute she is! LOL!

Did I see a bacon sandwich?!? I am not one for spices, but I'll have to tell my husband about it. Anyway, could you please put substitute the bacon with turkey bacon? Hold the tomato please, it tends to give me heartburn. Thank you! Didn't eat much yesterday, as we were out too long.

Hubby just came in to report that he was able to put the seat covers on! I am going to have him take pictures for me. :)

Okay, enough about my baby! Well, until hubby comes back with pictures! ;)

Have a great day, everyone! :)

Hubby put my seat covers on. I love them. They are an Amy Brown design. I thought they were Jessica Galbreth.

I LOVE fairies! My husband INSISTS that I can't have seat covers because he thinks I have side air bags... I don't remember anything about side airbags...

Thanks alot about the compliment on the color... It was the 1st one of only two in Thurston county to be sold in that color. I absolutely love the color the only way it could be better is if it were like a violet color so it would be a pinkish color lol.

Tina I completely understand that versa it's cute! I'm just really tall... I used to be almost 6 feet tall and now am only 5'10" so I've shrunk from the compression in my spine. That's still pretty freaken tall for a woman lol.

Congrats on the new car Tina, I just love it! Happy your fairy seat covers came out of the old car and fit fine in the new car too, it's hard to find a nice seat cover. The ones from my car wouldn't fit in my "new" truck since it's an extended bench seat, so I had to order covers online. I miss my pink flowers, but ahh I'll get over it.

Omigosh sign me up for that heart attack on a bun, that absolutely made me drool! Yep, mama needs to add those into the rolling snack shack inventory, you'd be rich peddling those in my neighborhood!

Hope everyone's having a fabulous Sunday, I am restoring my old vanity sink today, yeah!! A $2 can of Bar Keeper's Friend is going to be my golden ticket.
