It's friends like you the led the way hon. Thanks to the info and reviews you all gave I'm sure this is just what I'm looking for.

If you have a few fully charged batteries it works even better I love GREEN and RED settings but occasionally go back to blue when it's a bit too much. Do not vape like a fiend at green or it'll get too hot :) give a 30 seconds between long puffs at that voltage (4.2+ sometimes)

question about dry burning :

I have some vision clearos that just keep working even after 2-3 cleanings ... the reason I initially liked the visions was the new welding technology, if true (mfg wording but I understand it) and the thick bar instead of wire seemed like an improvement

I dry burn at 4.5v and the coil turns cherry red quickly, but still produces unpleasant smelling smoke/vapor ... it doesn't look like the coils are gunked up, so what is this smoke/vapor I'm getting ? ... it sure doesn't smell like any juice I've used, and no it's not plastic, I don't fry burn that long ... I don't particularly want to be inhaling whatever it is that smells awful coming off the coil ... I wonder if I'm getting any of that gunk as I'm vaping juice ? ... I have an idea, but wanted to hear what others thought

I have dry burned some old atomizers over a dozen times in one sitting (I didn't care if they burned up) but I did want to see how many burns it took to stop the plumes of whatever ? ... if you dry burn a new atty/cart, of course you won't get any smoke/vapor off the coil and that's the way I'd like my cleaned ones to work ... probably impossible tho

after thinking about this I suppose BPH off the plastic should be more worrisome ... kinda negates the organic juice benefits

Not a hotboxer but I will keep it in mind should a friend want to strap on her tank. loving my new baby so far <3 No flower engraved in it like the pic? But I'm happy not the have a name on it. Maybe get someone to engrave an owl on it for me or make me a skin with an owl ;)
Love the fact I can hold the mod in my palm and it not extent too much. The wight is nice not too heavy. And I can tell I'll have to watch the paint job less I chip it. Now to find out how long 4000mAh can outlast me :D thanks for everything.

If you want the design I have a spare tube around here somewhere?

Opinion here is that it's flavorings.

Speaking of issues, all of these that we've purchased leak.

I think it may be user error though. Due to taste issues with fresh CE2's we had begun taking everything new apart, rinsing in vodka, then drying, re-assemble and use them. I'm guessing the Visions do better if you never take the plastic tube off the metal base? Can anyone confirm?

thanks Foggy ... when I first tried them, they all leaked badly, I was losing juice with almost every one I tried

since I've cleaned them, they still work and without leaking ... I may have to dry burn more, due to the high vg juice I've been using ... I was concerned about inhaling the gunk, more dry burns needed I guess, maybe at a higher voltage

after cleaning, they work as well as any other cart/clearomizer that are low cost and expendable, as they all are

I've never taken the Vision tube off, not sure that's needed to clean it well ? ... but if you attached it to your pv snugly, some easy twisting and pulling would get the tube off, I've seen that technique used on a similar CE2

I just remove the tip and the plug, then rinse well with v hot tap water from both ends until the wicks are clean, air dry for a day, then dry burn ... seems the more I use it, the less it leaks, at least for me

I just opened a new, 2.5ml Visions green LED, works great and no leaks, 80% vg juice, 2.8-3.0 ohm, great taste @ 4.5v

EDIT: after 3 hrs of hard vaping, the brand new Visions started leaking  lost about a ml of liquid gold, CC House Blend ... loaded an old but freshly cleaned Visions and it hasn't leaked so far <sigh> gotta be the seals, maybe cleaning swells them

best luck

Hi Eric, Do you sell a wall plug to USB adapter that can be used with a passthru? Also, any news on when the 3.5ml Capacity Clear Clearomizers will be back in stock?Urge

Hey Urge I've tested the female USB side of a the wall plug and DC car adapters and they both read @ 5v, like any USB 2.0 on a computer. Should be fine for a passthrough - they work for charging my Go-Go's. If it's USB and 5v, it'll work. Passthrough in the car would be awesome.

edit: Even my cell phone's wall plug w/USB charges my Go-Go's. My Go-Go wallwart charges my old crappy skinny ecigs. USB is pretty universal and 5v is assumed. If you're worried about it then put the wallwart on a circuit breaker plug strip when you test it so it can trip before it burns your house down LOL kidding.

I am worried that it might overwhelm my computer's power supply. I read something recently about that being a potential problem because it stresses the motherboard and I have been using it on an older computer that probably doesn't have a very big power supply. Previously I was using it on an even older computer that recently died so I have a concern. My fast new computer died in a freak circumstance and I have been saving money to build another but my Jeep keeps asking for donations so...until that time!

Urge

To power a passthrough you need 5V AND at least 2amps...most of the wall warts aren't 2amp, so doublecheck :2c:

The Go-go wall warts are not 2A so it's hit or miss whether they work with a passthrough or not, I have one that seems to work for me but the consensus in not clear here, some can't get them to work at all. I am not sure why mine seem to work, maybe my wall plug is wired wrong :)

Urge, the 3.5's are shipping finally.. so they should be here next week along with the already paid for other items from them
More 2.5's and tanks and also the new ego clearomizers (not many)

This is all stuff that is owed to me from before the holiday and my present situation.

I also have a few Mini Lavas and some other items as well as the Go-go Dual coils and the Go-go Jumbo batteries.
If I could just get that stuff in I could pay Kanger and get the Go-go items I desperately need :(

Okay update on the Kanger 510 horizontal carto.Right now I'm using one on my 5V passthrough flashlight mod with a tank and its freaking great.I think you can even take the filler out and clean it and dry burn the coil since its a horizontal coil.I will try later tonight and post the results.
