Yeah. I've decided I'm going to stick with the Vivi Novas. Going to try out the high resistance heads when they come in, and just rebuild them if I'm not thrilled with the results.

I got a green one with my VMax!

I fixed a drain pipe with two of them on my fingers :)

Eric, has the Ovale v8 guy said what it means when you get flashing LO alternating with the actual voltage number and it going on and off? I think it may be that I fried my new batteries, but maybe not.

I very seldom let my Ovale V8 batteries run down too far. Perhaps because I do not want to be in a situation where I do not have fresh batteries to install.

On a few occasions while at home for an extended period of time (doesn't happen often) I have had them get down to the low point cutoff. When that happens I get the "flashing LO anternating with 3.3 (the set voltage)". That is the only time that I've had that particular indication. Fresh batteries and all is well.

I got a piece of tin foil attached to a string, with a little note that said "Amuse Yourself!". I was going to say something about it, but I've been sidetracked. I mean, it's so shiny! :D

Eric must have confused you with someone that has a Cat.

I got my Gripper today! Much better battery setup than the V8 plus I have another VV to use all my 18650 batteries with. I was a little concerned about the top fire button but it works real good. Left handed it is comfortable using my index finger and right handed my thumb. The blue led display is nice and the best display of all my VVPV's. It is also nice to have another PV that displays the resistance. I'm very happy with it so far and thanks for continuing to offer new products at great prices!:toast:

They said they were going to call it something else but in the end they went with Apollo which is obvious the best name for them although I do know a certain reviewer that tried to rename it the Space Needle. lol

Oh, it got picked up! There are sites calling it the Space Needle. :p

Oh, one more thing about the "Space Needle" name. I get the biggest kick out of seeing reviews on it, with reviewers calling it the Space Needle. Just something awesome about a reviewer naming something that other reviewers say.

any word on the vulture, chicken hawk or what ever you are going to call it ?

Oh no. No bird names. Don't follow the naming... distance yourself. Call it the "CE3 XL TANK", or the "Steel Bottomed Tank", or the "Filler-less Tank"... or something.

The CE3 Steel carto tank will be called.. wait for it...The CE3 Steel carto tank :)
