I have a question about the vv devices- the V8 uses PWM, and I think I remember seeing that the VMAX does also? Do any of the other vv pv's you carry use PWM?
That sucks, they hosed you?!

after years of dying my premature gray I found out exactly how much gray there is and it's like 80%

The Segelei VV Tube does, it's the V8 in a tube, same company same modulation, LD confirmed this with me today (right LD??)
Segelei Variable Voltage Tube
The GRIPPER is also PWM.
The display reading is very accurate on the GRIPPER with respect to the Average Voltage Output.

The Gripper is both PWM and constant. It starts off as a PWM at lower voltages, and tops out at constant voltages.
LD, I have to disagree with you on this one. At a setting of 5.9 on the GRIPPER, the Duty Cycle of the output is 98.3%, which is sufficient to cause an Analog Voltmeter to display a constant voltage even though there is a 1.7% OFF time. At a setting of 6.0 on the GRIPPER, there is no duty cycle and the output is continuous.
Anything below the 6.0 setting on the GRIPPER is PWM, and ONLY the 6.0 setting is a constant output.

Catch me on Skype tomorrow night, and I can show you this on the Nano. Are the universal coils which are showing on the site now, the ones I need to order for the mini vivi nova?
I know that the ones you had were not compatible with the mini vivi nova and you put a notice up with them stating
that they didn't fit the mini vivi, but I don't see that notice now.
I want to make sure I order the right things so everything fits .

Same here, Eric. Got the new batteries and T2s, already charged and vaping beautifully. I forgot how much I like the warm vape off these LR T2s. And they work great on my thread-stripped eGo batts. ;-)Just another shout out for another lightening fast, and complete shipment...
LD, touchee, I think. LOL
I did not perform the first tests under load.
Since I didn't want to fry coils, you made me go digging through my parts bins to find a 2.2 Ohm 25 Watt Resistor as a load on the test rig.
I can see that at a setting of 5.1 and above it is definitely a DC Output. Sometimes a slight drop pulse, but for the most part DC.
Between 4.8 and 5.1 the NANO shows some weird results. Duty Cycle actually goes down, P-P Voltage goes up, and the Average Voltage remains pretty much what is set on the GRIPPER. Like it's possibly changing between PWM and Constant Output.
Now that I've analyzed the living crap out of it, and fried a T2 because I forgot to lower the setting from 6.0 after the first test (LOL), the results are:
Who cares. Set it at 3.3, put a LR T2 on it, and vape like crazy.
On my way to another Rodeo tomorrow, and will be gone 2-1/2 weeks. I'll try to catch you on Skype when I get back.
