What's the difference between the sealed & unsealed, besides one being sealed & one not?

Sent from my HTC EVO on Taptalk.

sealed connectors prevent liquids from directly entering battery compartments, I am not sure why all adapters are not sealed, one of our experts here can probably shed some light, less airflow? I am not an expert.

I have tried a couple over the last year or so but I got these by accident, they were supposed to be regular 510 to 510.

if you have a leaky carto, that leaks through the center post this would prevent it (in theory)

RodeoGeorge, sorry, I didn't know about them. :(

I seem to be having problems with the new Segelei Dual Coil 510 Chrome Tanks. After about 3 GREAT vapes, I cannot get anything good at all. I am using Halo Tribeca and Malibu(never had any problems with these juices in anything) in seperate tanks with the same results. If I go above 3.9 I get an unbelievable bad burned taste. 3.9 and below, not worth the energy to vape it. I emptied both tanks and blew out the juice and started over, same results. I dropped some in the carto then filled the tank to just above the holes in both tanks both times. The Gripper VV says 4.2 volts should do it, but I cannot handle the burnt taste. Am I doing something wrong? The first 3 vapes were great all the way around, but then.............PLEASE help.

Thanks Sandy, those carto's have left the building. It's sad because they vaped Sooo well at first. When Eric starts carrying them, I'll get a bunch and be more careful. I'll start low and go up in.1 increments. Good pick on the carto punch, I am ready to pick one up myself. I have about 30 that I want at least a 2nd hole in.

If you have not ordered from Discount Vapors, please look at how fast my order was shipped today:

I ordered maybe 30 minutes ago. The order was shipped before I even paid for it, within 30 minutes of me ordering.

I clicked the "I will send a check" button. The order was shipped without me paying for it, because Eric knows I will pay. I got an invoice, then I paid with PayPal.

Question: Why does every other site that sells the Nova mini say that it uses the same coil heads as the regular size Nova except discountvapers?

Drew- here is what Eric posted about the replacement heads for the mini vivi:
"Ok so here's the question I have been dreading to answer. Not because of the manufacturer but because of "Vision".

From what I know Vision is not a manufacturer, they are a assembler/packer. They assemble and pack items ordered from manufacturers with their branding. I recently found this out from other sources, two I highly trust, others incidental. I could have the wrong information I do not know for sure.

This is not to suggest Vision isn't superior because they have a knack for getting the right parts together. Their brand is a good brand. That said, it is becoming increasingly clear based on the test orders and samples I get from other vendors that the products they make are not unique, take for example the Thor, identical to the Vision except for the V etched branding. I have received other "CE5" samples and they too are identical.

So when you ask me if the Mini Vivi Nova is from Vision, while I have to say no to be honest, I can say the people I get it from are using high quality parts no different than Vision. I believe HealthCabin sells non Vision Mini Vivi's but not sure, it's name is not in their description, where it is on other products and I know a lot of vendors rebuy from them. I think LD might have agreed with this? (don't quote me, I'm tired) So I am not the only one in this particular case.

So there you have it, if you are buying based on brand, I completely understand, but from my viewpoint there is no difference.

Now don't get me wrong there are copycats and some of their product is shoddy, but I do not sell that kind of product, or at least I try very hard not to.

Some of you may recall my slight issues with Vision as of late, well it turns out they read this very thread and are now completely angry with me So be it, I am honest to a fault. I am not about to be a kiss-... to anyone, ever. But if they get over their offence I'll be glad to continue to buy from them. (hint hint Max)

This isn't to say I won't have Vision branded products because I will, just not sure I'll be getting them directly from Vision and that's a shame, it started off so well

I WANT to order from Vision, but I cannot wait 30+ days for an on time order, it's just not feasible.

On to the confusing nature of this business. LD was kind enough to spend some time with me tonight via Skype cam and we went over some of the differences in versions, types, head and plastics used in the various Visions, Novas and eGos. Believe me at points in the conversation we were BOTH completely confused. Some heads fit some versions, some do not, some center posts are short, some are tall, some heads have conical cones, some do not and we were trying really really hard to get a grip on it. I think we kinda did in the end.

so a big thanks goes to LD for helping us all on the ever increasing confusion of the new prodiucts and versions coming out.

From what I know:
The Mini Vivi's that I have has a long post and a short head, which will not work with my universal heads because it's just a tad too small. I tried one and it didn't leak or anything but it did not thread all the way on, so that's not ideal. The Vivi Novas, the Thors and the Visions will all take the universal heads and all parts between the Vision 2.0 and Thor are interchangeable, so a blue drip tip I bought from the Thor makers is A-OK on a Vision and vice versa.

I am going to try my best to keep the confusion to a minimum, so for example I will be buying the Mini Nova heads from the same place to ensure they fit on what I sell. "

sorry about that experience, it does sound like they got burned out?

I do have an order in with them for the replacement cartos, they seem like a winner so far. This is the same company that does the V8 and the new V8 in a tube form (on the website as the Segelei Variable Voltage Tube) the tank seems to work extremely well on the tube and the V8, but that shouldn't be burning out so quickly unless the voltage is high.

I am trying to get more details from them on the carto
The moment you get a burning taste, regardless of what any device tells you is the time you should immediately turn down the voltage and make sure you have liquid in it. (voltage first though) Burn is from lack of wicked liquid OR too high a voltage.
'

this is the V8 in a tube, LD says it has exactly the same metered output as the V8 (and the gripper)
