Thank you babes it's just a laptop and is getting older now. Yesterday it only took 3 trys to start, today it took forever. It powered on but wouldn't do anythings to get the windows to start ober and ober and ober I had to do the unplug-take battery out-put battery back in-connect power-hold power button while upside down thing to get it to come on today. Like it shut down wrong but it didn't, it shut down normals I gotta stop buying vaping supplies and saves up fer a new puter I be thinkin....

Sorry to hear about your computer problems Aggie. I've been using this little Dell Inspiron /6400 for about 3 years. The only time it gets turned off is when it has to re-start after doing updates. Sometimes I think it is harder on them turning them off and on than it is just to keep them on. of course YMMV.

You may have to many programs loading at start up using up all of your ram. I am not a tech, but have had a similar problem.
