Good morning all, I just heard about the Texas explosion. Thank God sonics is ok, my heart is breaking for everyone there, or who loves someone there. I know we have many many ecf members in Texas. Sending prayers up for the lives lost and injuries suffered.

God bless. My thoughts are in Texas at this time =\ Hope this Thursday smooths out. Off to DR visit #3 this afternoon. So much drama for a work knee injury here in Cali. Few more months i will, walk the dogs again, enjoy long walks on the beach... soon, so soon. Love from cali to all!! DV fam, be safe.

We got married on my lunchhour. I had to get special permission to leave my ship because it was my duty day (Officer of the Deck on a ship in San Diego). I changed in the car (a simple pinkish shift dress I found on sale at the base exchange), we popped into City Hall, got married and my husband took me back. I changed back into uniform and went to a meeting.
The next day his ship left for drug ops off the coast of Mexico and a week later my ship deployed for Bahrain!
LOL!
Twenty one years later (!), we laugh and tell our kids!
(We did have a church wedding on our 7th anniversary with two friends and our priest as witnesses!)

Hub and I went to the preacher's house to get married. He (the preacher) was wearing his work clothes. I looked pretty good...got my hair fixed and was wearing a cute dress and heels. I weighed 109 lbs back then...ahh, memories.

Afternoon DV gang. Let's hope today brings some uplifting news...

What an amazing outpouring of support the last couple of days though for the people in Boston & in West. From simple shows of support (MLB teams (even Yankees!) playing "Sweet Caroline" in support of Boston - Red Sox tradition, if you're like me & didn't know; and the entire crowd singing the National Anthem at a Bruins game), to surrounding communities pouring into West to help with Triage, transportation & caring (from Dallas to Waco and others). Reminds me why I love my country.

Reminds me why I love my country.

It is good that we can be reminded that there are great people everywhere, but it just sucks to have events like the last week happen so that we can be reminded. NY was completely inundated back in 2001 with great people and great support. I haven't forgotten any of it, and it's the part I try to remember most.

Love my rba, pheonix i got this week. ss wick 4 wraps 32g = 1.8 ohm coil... little vape monster. AGA i got few weeks ago with a 2 ohm coil, just tasty @ cool clouds =O I have 2 protanks, but i am waiting for an air regulator.. Just seems airy to me. But i am probably spoiled with my new found rba skills. I also want the AGI, but i am waiting for the RSST to sit on my natural. Next paycheck, i am going to pick up the k100 kit, it just looks so complete. Hope every ones Friday is great, mine is always a work filled one.
