Get it in TP mode and run it above 20 watts for a bit. Apparently that's the easiest way to check if it will glitch

That's what I did with mine. Ran it up to 40W and hit the button, effective, disaster.......

Running it at 27.7w right now. That's a warm vape.

With the tp it really doesn't matter how high you set the wattage, it matters where you set the temp. I set the temp for where I find the best flavor, if I want less vapor then I can crank the wattage down, but for me, I never want less vapor. LolNope. I want to know if this will fail. If it happens, I'll send it back. If not, neener, neener, neener

Actually, the wattage makes the vape much warmer. I'm at 40w and 420°F. My KF build is keeping up though

Seriously though, I really do need to lay down. I just went thru 2ml of 12mg juice in about an hour.
Was it instant or do I have to keep vaping at 40w for a while?
Thanks for the CyberMonday heads-up, guys! A local B&M has a "Jellyfish" mod (??) on sale for $99 on Friday, but I'm leaning strongly towards a Shark for my wife.
Mine glitched immediatly following the fire button push at 40W. I also had temp protection kick in right away after waking up the unit on my first vape and didn't get the new coil prompt.
Sounds like you have a perfectly functional unit so far!! That's a good thing!!
Dropped mine in the mail back to VS this morning, hopefully get the new one next week, and maybe another one with the sale on Monday!

God your test should come with a warning. I tried the 40 watts and it hit me like a train.
I notice two things (besides the extra heat) One: I had been running a dual coil fogger .12 ohms at 15 watts and it would boost to around 350 degrees and then keep inching up in temp (never hitting my 450 TP) as long as I could continue to pull ending around 400 degrees. At 40 watts it hit 400 almost immediately and then "Cruise Control" around 404 degrees as long as I could pull.
Two: At 40 watts I swear I could watch the juice level in my tank drop with every pull. IMHO if I continued at 40 watts I am sure it would end in a call to 911 and an empty tank within 15 minutes.
Now I am going to go lay down until the room stops spinning.
PS - no glitches in my VaporFlask just in the person behind the V.F.

I was vaping at 27w, then 35w and then 40w for the past hour waiting for the screen glitch!
I'm back down to 15w but I have such a buzz now.
