RyBryLawDudeGuy...I'm a Kayfun enthusiast, through and through...hell, I was even a key element in converting YOU of all people!
That being said, I've watched the advancements in BVC "technology" and the widespread evidence of a change to quality materials in their systems. All of this leads me to want this Kabuki P3 as a backup to my Kayfuns.
Though it may sound insane, I do enjoy being able to just take my P3 Nauti out for the day, or the weekend, and be able to bring a simple BVC coil with me in case things go wrong. My fear of having a coil/wick go south in a Kayfun is ever-present, when I leave my house. That fear is erased with the BVCs, because it's self-contained, and barely larger than an 800mg Motrin (meaning it's small and easily portable).
My OCD simply will not allow me to build/install coil/wick setups anywhere but my spot on the couch. So when I leave my house for more than just the day, I take an extra Kayfun with me (along with corresponding bottles of juice, as well as batteries)...and it gets old sometimes. I'd like to just grab one tank, one bottle of juice, extra batteries (always), and a blister-packed pre-made coil.
In an effort to keep from repeating myself, I will just say "Get oooooooone..." [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]
You couldn't possibly regret having another high-end tank system for your beloved P3! Especially one that uses the same coils from your (formerly) beloved P3 Nauti! You were all about that thing! Remember? Keep in mind, it was the evil Kanger Subtank Mini that failed you...not the Nautilus.

Yes, you were a major influence in my migration to Kayfuns. Yes you were. I just don't at the moment feel I need anything other than what I'm using. I have a little vape stand on my desk and and I have a little case to take the 2nd KFL+ and Russian 91% with me (plus of course extra batteries), so it's not like I can't switch tops and flavors throughout the day if I want or need to.

I do however, hope the Kabuki exceeds your expectations in every way. I do. I really do!

I myself am having a difficult time finding much excitement over a system which uses BVC/BDC coils.

Same here, but for a different reason. The Nautilus is a very tight draw for me, even with the airflow at maximum. I still use it on occasion, with my ProVari v2.5. I hear the airflow on the Kabuki is a little more open than the Nautilus though, so I'll wait for the masses to report in before solidifying an opinion. I mix RBA and pre-made coils, mostly because of lack of time to rebuild (save it for the weekend, use a pre-made coil 'till then situation).

My lovely wife (sadly) is a person that believes marriage should only be between one man and one women

Dare I speak up on the topic? I have a very different view of the subject, and can see both sides points. For me, here's what it boils down to. The word "marriage" has been defined in religious circles, translated from ancient scriptures varying from 800-3000+ years, depending on what you read. Most people would agree it's a religious word, and has specific meaning - between a man and a woman. The bible even calls gay people an abomination (if memory serves from my early years in Catholic school).

My personal views are pro-choice. Legally speaking, everyone should be able to share the same benefits, whether straight or gay. However, back to the religious people. The word "marriage" is sacred, so you might be able to sympathize that putting the words "gay" and "marriage" together is insulting to the very origins of the religious term. With that, I cannot disagree. So what's the answer? Some states are calling it a "union" rather than "marriage". This makes more sense, considering "union" can apply to a heterosexual couple as well - it's a legal term, and properly used with a homosexual couple IMHO. Since "marriage" is a religious term, and "union" a legal term, I have to take the side of religion when it comes to terminology.

It's all about respect, and I have respect for both sides. I respect the religious with their sacred word, but I also respect the homosexual couples who deserve equality. Not looking for a debate - this is one of those topics that should never be brought up in an open forum as it almost always leads to intervention - just stating my opinion. Terminology aside, all that matters is two people are happy together. It's a shame how homosexual people have been treated historically, but then again, humanity has a history of mistreating its fellow man.

Congrats again to Rod & Charlie.

I always bring 2 Provaris when I go anywhere ... my big fear is dropping one and the Kayfun breaking.
Notice...you said KAYFUN breaking...not Provari breaking...so why not just carry an extra Kayfun?
If you drop your setup, you know that Provi will be fine...and you'll have an extra Kayfun to go back on top, once you've dusted it off!

They also use the AV Cisco coils.
Waiting on AV to have some in stock...
Please...tell me more about these Cisco coils...?
And on that note, what is the latest iteration of the Aspire Nautilus coil? What are we using these days? The last time I bought coils for my P3 Nauti, they said BDC on the bottom...and with the advancements in the Atlantis coils, I've feel safe with an assumption that the Nautilus coils have had some improvements?

They've come out with a BVC, which is a single coil using Japanese cotton.

The original BVC used a mix of ceramic and cotton for wicking.

I assume the BDC coils are still available as well.

Cisco coils are a single horizantal coil with a small flavor wick. They are re-usable. Made in the USA by Avid Vaper. They are expensive but last a long time with proper care.

They use an Aspire coil housing and an in-house coil.

So this BVC...it's a single, vertical coil, as I've just read...
Does the coil have more/larger wicking holes? All the pictures I find are pretty basic. More than likely just the same stock photo on most websites...and my Google-Fu is pretty strong.
It's confirmed to be Japanese cotton? Or at least some sort of cotton, and not that ceramic crap?

The wick holes are about twice the size of the original ones.

And it is definitely cotton. They say Japanese.

I only say this because I know it will be true. In the next few weeks I'll be seeing confederate flags all over the place. Bumper stickers, flags on trucks, and flags hanging from flag poles in yards.

I was listening to a story about the flag issue and some guy they interviewed said the confederate flag needed to be flown, so young people would know about the history of the time. Ooookay...so how come this flag doesn't "need" to be flown?

Morning folks......Many of you know Charlie was interviewed for a Yahoo news documentary and our wedding was filmed. If you go to Yahoo today, you'll see prominently displayed on the home page a Video called "Uniquely Nasty." Here's the link if you'd like to watch it. This is not just about Charlie or our wedding. It's about the governments blatant discrimination towards gay people. It's specially ironic that J. Edgar Hoover led one of the biggest gay witch hunts in the history of the United States, when he himself was a gay man!

Anyway, the last 10 minutes of this 30 minute video is where you'll meet my husband, Charlie Baker, where he was interviewed in our home (now's your chance to see how Sir Rod lives! And at the end are scenes from our wedding.

Uniquely Nasty: The U.S. Government's War on Gays - Yahoo News

Fascinating stuff. I didn't know about Senator Hunt; sadly, my government never ceases to amaze me.

You and Charlie are almost as cute as Eri and Emi. Almost. :pervy:

Except for ProVape. They actually DO have our best interests... [emoji41]

why carry 2 Provaris? ... if I'm going to carry an extra Kayfun and spare battery ... might as well carry them attached to a spare Provari.
