Whenever I am in a restroom and someone knocks ... I always reply with ... come on in.

Nobody ever does.

I have bits of apple (I'm eating lunch) all over my screen and keyboard. That was funny!

Been there done that. HATE IT! I'm a very private person and can't stand using public restrooms, and simply couldn't use one without a door on the stall. No I simply could not!
The worst public bathrooms are those circular pee troughs. A bunch of men standing in a circle ...... and looking at each other. Are you kidding me! Talk about stripping away all your dignity! I hear women say that nothing is more undignified than child birth...strapped in with your legs up the the air and all kinds of strangers walking in and out. I think I can identify a little.

How much time would a Cisco coil last approximately?

I've always heard about Cisco coils and Cisco bridgeless atomizers and heard the best about them, and I've read comments stating that they last "forever" but I be never had a chance to try one and would like a more detailed overview and information.

I would imagine that would depend on how you vape, how often you rinse the coil, the type of juice you use, etc., etc., but I've had mine for months now.

These do not vape like the Aspire coils. They generally do better at lower power, with a bit of finesse used in vaping them. You can, and will, get dry hits, or flooding, if you are not careful.

Given a choice between these and a Cisco 306 dripping atty, I'd take the 306, but they do last. My biggest problem with a Cisco atty has been dropping them. They don't like to be dropped. Other than that they just keep going generally.

Marriage is not a religious word. In fact the word marriage derives from Middle English mariage, which first appears in 1250–1300 CE. This in turn is derived from Old French marier (to marry) and ultimately Latin marītāre meaning to provide with a husband or wife and marītāri meaning to get married.

I'll have to research that some more - I'm going from memory the last time I researched it when the subject came up with a very religious person.

Many people may be very surprised to know that in the 1100's, Catholic Priests routinely married same sex couples. It wasn't until the age of the Puritans it became unacceptable.

They failed to mention that in Catholic school. Not to get too deep into things I know little about, but if the bible speaks against it, and priests were doing it... is that just another example of corruption in religion?

And I've never found the reference to gay people are an abomination in the Bible

I did strongly remember the term from my Catholic school days (30 or so years ago now), so I had to look it up. Here's a link to the wording across many different editions of the bible:

Leviticus 20:13 "'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

To call what Charlie and I have a "union" as opposed to a "marriage" is insulting. It implies we are less than straight people and that is something I would fight wholeheartedly. Yes I would!

Assuming the origin of the word was religions in nature (which you provide information to the contrary, but assuming in the context of my original post...), it would not be a word that delineates sexual preference, but a word that delineates church vs state. I've not agreed, to a certain extent, of the use of the word "marriage" when it's really a "civil union" - anything outside of the church, regardless of preference.

Thanks again John. I do appreciate the time and thought you put into your post. Yes I do.

Thanks. It's usually interesting to discuss potentially heated topics like adults, and learn from them.

Dear Dr. Laura,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.

a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

g) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted disciple and adoring fan.

I'll get some 306s to start then.

All great reasons why the bible is, always has been and likely always will be my least favorite book ever written. But that's another story altogether........
