No, actually, I didn't say no. I did make mention that those others were not wooden squonkers. And they were more or less rather much a joke if one were to compare them to the quality of the Phids.

i haz a serendipity. Missy's Wet Box made me think of Old Goat, which made me Google about it, which led me to...

I'm not a gamer, but I discovered a game called "Goat Simulator." It's likely I'm late to the party again and everyone else knows about this treasure, but I was fascinated. For a minute I was tempted to buy it, until I realized that while the game looks like something I might play (no skills are needed, including understanding what is going on) what I really liked was the commentary by the guy who was playing it. I just want to watch him play and listen to him talk.

I can never be quite sure what I might find here, on any given day.

Here's to surprise endings. [emoji106]

Yes, I saw that...

But why, why was it closed?

Thanks, Jim

I think the mod got tired of the same old entertaining back & forth.

On the history lesson --

I'm pretty sure Rob made and sold the Woodvil before the metal Grand and was the first to commercially sell wood bottom feeders. (Spring 2010) I seem to recall Rob posting that he didn't invent the Bottom Feeder, but came up with his own version with the tube in the bottle and other tweaks. He was, undoubtedly, very early in the bottom feeding ventures, and very close to the first. (and, of course, I can't find that post...grrr...but I did find this: Some of my mods | E-Cigarette Forum just a couple months before he started selling the wood reo .)

Fonosmoak, on the other hand, was the first to commercially sell hand made wooden mods in the U.S. in spring 2010, the Phidias( sold through Nhaler). August 2010 a few Fono Phidias feeder models were sold via Nhaler (and some not fono approved). In September 2010 Fono started selling the Phidias Feeder direct here at ECF (and through a few other distributors and locations).

The other "big" player around that time was the Journeyman and the lovely Ali'i, made by R & R Manufacturing. Monkey Box, Red Sky Mods, Southpaw, The Grip (and others) were also "famous" or "infamous" my first year or so of vaping as were the "gems" mentioned in earlier posts above.

Many of these models pre-date the ProVari!

These days I'm a very happy vaper with my Kabuki and ProVari set ups. Ti my favorite, of course.

Amazing. You truly are...

Seriously folks, if y'all ever truly need to know an accurate history of something in the vape world, cut to the chase and take it straight to @tearose50 .

And I'm not kidding about that. The woman is a freaking encyclopedia of vape-related information.

Well done, T (as always).:)
