It's time for me to come clean: I'm not gay I'm straight. I'm Catholic and don't go to church. I admit to being married and can only confirm I have two sons. RB my friend I've had gay couples look at me and wife and laugh. Yes I know I'm stuck with a woman, but stop making fun of me because of it.

LOL!! We once went out to dinner on Valentines Day. The restaurant was fully booked. We were the only table with two guys. People did look at us. Some whispered. We've NEVER gone out to dinner on Valentines day since.

We ate at a restaurant in Washington DC., in Georgetown that was predominantly gay patronized. Virtually every table was filled with men couples or lady couples. In walks a mom and dad and their two young children. They were shown to a table and they studied the menu, and finally placed their order. Then they started looking around and all of the sudden it dawned on them where they were. I could see the color drain from their faces. Mind you this was a very nice restaurant, with excellent food. Expensive too. I did feel so badly for that family as they were so uncomfortable and kept telling their children to not look around. Had their children looked around all they would have seen would have been people enjoying a great meal in a great restaurant. I do give them credit for not getting up and walking out. They just ate in total silence (though it was clear they were impressed with the quality of their food), paid their bill and got out of there. The sad thing is not one person in that restaurant didn't want them there. Nor did anyone pay any attention to them.

How about them P3's! We should go to the P3 thread and tell everyone how great they are.

There's really not a whole lot to talk about the P3 anymore... This thread was created to announce the P3, and a place for us all to get together and compare notes, learn all of its intricacies, etc. That time has long past. What's great about old threads like this is the core group stays here to discuss other things, so when a new P3 owner stops by with a question, there are a number of knowledgeable people hanging around to help them out. If we kept this (or any) thread on-topic, most people would get bored, leave, and the thread would die. I've seen that happen all too many times in strictly moderated threads.

That happened to me and my brother. We were club-hopping, following one of our favorite DJ's around every few days. We went to one club, sat at the bar, ordered drinks, started talking, and at some point we both started becoming aware of our surroundings - we were the only straight people there, but both of us being guys, fit right in. Of course we stayed - why leave? We both got hit on a few times, but said "we're together".

Then you have schmucks like me who STILL haven't bought one...

My calculator broke and it won't go past 2.5. What can I say?

And I also still wear those double-knit polyester pants like my mom used to buy for me in 1973. They're comfortable! Kinda stretchy and what-not. What did they call 'em? Not "Bell-Bottoms"... oh yeah! "Flairs!":lol::lol::lol::lol:

And 8 track tapes. They're all I listen to. Those newfangled cassette tapes sound so "tinny"...

And as long as the couples were not groping each other there should be no problem. And BTW, that would apply to straight couples as well. Who wants to go to a restaurant with people groping and hanging on each other. I don't. Restaurants are about dining and conversing, not groping. :)

Add that I'm not big on public displays of affection regardless of gay or straight.

I've been on another thread from the very beginning (literally the very beginning) for almost three years now. Some 120,000 posts later we have long gone on to off-topics. One can only talk about the same thing for only so long. Doesn't mean we're not happy to talk about it and especially with newbies looking for suggestions. But if we stuck to on-topic discussion only the thread would have dried up and died a long time ago.

Sooo.. I got the P3 Ti yesterday. My friend sent it to Scotland, where I'm working during the Latvian national summer holidays.
Here's the raised screen issue that bugs me. The screen is where I put my thumb normally. Can really feel the edge. OCD, eh... I really thought it would be flush. Let's see what you think.

Hmmm, I don't think it would bother me much but if you suffer from OCD I could see how it would. Give it a spin bud and see how it pans out. Meanwhile, get yourself one of these Ti drippers. Obviously the aesthetics would be killer on your Ti P3 but the vape is also phenominal (it's a large capacity dripper). Single coil only, however. But perfect for the P3.

As the President of OCD, I think most know where I'd stand on that. But it doesn't really matter what any of us think. It's what you think and if it bothers you, it will likely always bother you, so you know what that means. Open a ticket with Provape and get them to take care of it for you.

I wonder, if the Provari always had a raised screen would it still bother you?

I don't suffer from OCD:) I was just under the assumption he screen should be flush. High-end device, you see. We'll see.
Thanks, Bronze.

Yeah, I put the pics in to compare with other users. Maybe the Ti's just are like this.
I'll contact Provape. Me being on the other side of the pond it all takes time..

Not if I knew that's the way it was supposed to be. But we know it's not. So that's why it would bother me. Yes it would.

I agree on principle, it should be flush. Does it bother me? No.

Curious what they will do.
