Does anyone know if ProVape ever made a P3 with no finish (plain Stainless Steel) or has their, "entry level" always been the Satin Silver? Is the Satin Silver actually just plain SS with no finish?

Not "plain" SS. The Satin Silver has no finish on it, but it has been media blasted.

And to me, I enjoy holding the plain satin silver PV more than the other finishes. I have no idea why.

Me too. The media blasted SS finish is simply amazing. It may not cost extra, but it is super durable and feels great in the hand.

The only truly plain finish is the polished. There is no coating whatsover there. It's also the most durable. You can just polish any scratches out, but it seems to scratch easier than the satin media blasting.

Not sure I would say it's more durable, but it is easier to buff out a scratch if you get one. My very first 2.5 was polished. I kept it all of 15 minutes before trading it for SS. It shows finger prints too well and I knew it would get scratched. Sure I could use a Cape Cod cloth on it, but I didn't want the hassle. My SS 2.5 never developed noticeable scratches, and none of the other SS Provari's I've owned since have either. And Polished is an upcharge over SS. Go figure.

Having said that, a media blasted finish is my personal favorite every time, given a choice.

I redefine OCD, so I'm beyond careful with my Provari's. Because of that, I'm lucky to have never dinged one, certainly never to the point of getting under the SS finish. That said, in addition to the durability of SS, I so appreciate how it simply doesn't show finger prints. Yes I do!

Glad you're happy, so I'm'a happy for you. Never did care much for volts, as watts is easier for my pea-sized brain to process. So, I don't miss them in the least on my Procyon or Radius.

What colour did you get?
I got the Satin Silver AND GOOD THING I DID AS FOR THE SECOND TIME IN IT'S WARRANTY PERIOD MY BLACK P3 IS GOING BACK! No matter what I put on it, I get the "OP" error.

MAKE SURE WHEN YOU buy A P3, YOU HAVE BACK-UP!

Using my spare P3 now.

Going to write ProVape now.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.... Deep breath... deep vapor inhale from Kabuki on spare P3....

Ok, I'll be ok...
