I'm not as worried about the B&M owners as the people who go into places, buy up all the stock and then flip it.

Me, unless PROVAPE decides to do something for the customers who are going to use the device pretty soon, I'm making a regulated bottom feeder.
I gotta say, i understand and appreciate beta testing with real people who have minimal understanding on the tech side.
The b&m will by default have new vapors and fans of the brand alike giving their opinions and relaying that info back to provape; allowing them to make any decided upon changes to the final product(superman emblem). I know i will be bugging my b&m to let me try it frequently. Lol
Not to mention i understand the silver only release first since it is the most common finish on mods, most other brands don't have nearly the amount of available factory offered finish options anyway and most toppers are silver. From a business standpoint i can see them releasing it with the silver first and as that demand is met slowly start releasing the others.

hmm. I got 2 non blem dragons from my local b&m with the extension and blue led for 250$ each. I got the full size one the week they dropped. Still don't feel like I got robbed

I actually paid less for my Dragon, including shipping from another state. As I said before, all of the stores near me said they could not get it, at least at first.

For the P3, I'll be calling one store I know charges the same for the ProVari as online. If they don't have it for sale, or if the price is more, I will wait and buy it online.

That's a pretty good deal.
The one by me has a mini dragon with blue led and extension for 250 and a mini gunmetal and mini gold marked at 200. They've been known to throw in some swag to sweeten the deal too.
Ie juice or cut you a deal on batteries and charger.

Wow provape is coming out with a new provari, awesome. Oh wait I just looked at the calendar and it isn't 2010. Too little too late, epic fail.

And continuing to add to it because it shows up in "What's New".

Stop it....... It might not be for the new generation of "Cloud Chasers", but still has plenty of power for most vaping needs... One thing I will say about Provape as a long time customer is their service is second to none when it comes to repairs, that is if you ever have to send one back.. When they develop their chips they test and test and abuse them to make sure all the bugs are worked out first before release... I bought 3 ZNA's. 1 for me and the other 2 where sold to friends.. Now let me tell you my first ZNA has been flawless since Feb. and I used it every day.. But the other 2 that were sold.. Well lets just say within a few days had to be sent back into HOH for DNA30 board replacement due to auto firing... P3 count me in for one, this thing is going to ROCK !!! :headbang:

The best idea yet.

Here ya go!

LOLOL

p3-nati_zps2b955898.jpg

I wasn't expecting to be blown away, I mean the 2.5 is doing just fine for me.
Wrong. I hate having shinyitus.

I was in hopes the display would flip depending on which way it was held (like phones) because I tend to use both hands. Not juggling a device between hands to get to a setting would have been a real plus for me.

Thank you for not adding a flashlight, mp3 player, clock, alarms, power bank, vibrator, wifi, puff counters and everything else non-essential to vaping.

Of course it is coming out in an almost satin silver first. It has been their best selling "color".

IMHO the new look is what many have been asking for and griping about for awhile and used as excuses for not even considering buying one! Of course, there are always new excuses.

I'm hoping it comes out close to the current full price of the silver red LED 2.5 to reach a broader audience.

As much as I like the Zencoats and the idea of designs much like the Dragon, I just can't get myself to indulge in that luxury. That's my excuse. :)

Enthusiasts can get the higher cost finishes and perhaps designs down the road.....and sell me their satin silver one discounted on the classies.

I've seen so many people with the same mindset...and it baffles me.
Our society is so used to having a new model of everything, every year...

What I haven't seen, even amongst the Provai loyal, is this simple thought:
Provape hasn't needed to come out with anything new, because what they have on the market is still a highly viable option for new and experienced vapers alike.
The current generation Provaris have had some tweaks, which made them a little better, sure.
But other than those minor changes, everything else still holds up as well as the day it was released!

What other mod out there, can match what the Provari does?
And I mean AS AN OVERALL PACKAGE.
Sure there are mods with higher wattage output, or lower ohm limits, smaller size, longer battery life, etc etc etc...
But has China been able to replicate Provari durability? Nope.
Have they come anywhere near Provari reliability? No way.
What about any other American brand? Or European brand?
None.

So, for all the nay-sayers, I say this...
Go home.
If Provari isn't your device, so what? Nobody is holding a gun to your head, telling you to buy one.
And nobody is asking you why a Provari doesn't compare, or hold up to your favorite mod or device.

In the end, regardless of hard facts/specs, anyone's favorite device is only their favorite due to the subjective nature of human decision making.

Oh, and for all the people who try to compare Provaris (and other regulated VV/VW devices) to mechanical mods...well you're just trying to pick a fight.
There really isn't any comparison between the devices with "brains", and those without.
That's like comparing classic American carbureted "muscle" engines to modern day, smog regulated, fuel injected engines.

THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING.
Some just choose to do it in different ways.
And more often than not, whichever one makes the most sense to you, will probably be your device of choice. But that doesn't make it BETTER than another.

Sorry.
Rant over.
I just got sick of seeing all these negative reactions to a device I've been anticipating.
Do I NEED a new Provari?
No. The v2 and v2.5 I have work perfectly.
But am I excited that there is a new one on the way?
Yes. With the quality Provape puts into their devices, I am excited to try a shiny new toy!
That doesn't mean my old ones aren't still just as good!

In closing, my OPINION stands, that Provape hasn't needed to release a new device every year, in order to stay relevant to the "vape scene"...that mentality is just a product created by today's hunger for "NEW! NEW! NEW!"...

Bottom line: If you have to have it yesterday, there's a pretty good chance you'll pay up.. And if you can wait a bit, you'll probably get a better deal...

I'll be waiting for coupon day myself. That is unless they decide to not include the P3 is sale promotions.

That's not true. I know a couple of guys who have been using the Dani Extreme -which is made in Germany- for well over a year without any problems. They have all dropped it several times and it's still going strong. It's not just Provape that knows how to build a high quality, dependable, regulated mod.

Well, the Germans certainly know their beer...so I'd be willing to try their mods. I'd be interested to see how their customer service stands up to Provape's though. I feel more comfortable dealing with a company based in the US because it's easier to get service directly from the manufacturer that way. If / when there is an issue, I'd rather not have my mod repaired by a third party vendor, and/or ship my mod off to Europe and wait a month to get it back. That's if Dani even provides repairs at a reasonable price.

As far as I'm concerned, Provape's product quality and customer service combined cannot be matched by any other manufacturer I've seen or heard of. If there are companies out there who come close, that is awesome...but I really have no reason not to be loyal to Provape. The vast majority of their customers seem to feel the same way. That's the beauty of it.

Edit - Clearly I'm a fan, so take my opinion with a grain of salt if you like. It's just so rare for me to be completely satisfied with a company or their products these days. When I am I feel the need to trumpet the news far and wide.

I'm just guessing here, but that must mean the red piece of rubber extends into the tube completely encapsulating the pin, with only a wire sticking out at the bottom. When you screw on a tank or dripper so it sits flush, the rubber stretches out a bit. It's either that or it's just a rubber gasket that's thick enough that it can compress.

Nah i bet its a hydraulic actuator =]

well. the reason I now have a few of them, is because I own a granite tile marble installation company. in short. I am a construction grunt. out in the heat of new construction...with the dirt, dust and grime of every day life coupled with heat, rain, humidity. after breaking a side button regulated mod, which name I will not say, after 2 weeks of vaping. I quickly got online to find out what the most durable side button personal vaporizer was. and was quickly turned to Provari. not once, not twice....but every time I asked the question by too many people to argue with at once or at least on a ten minute average. so I got one. my local B&M was so impressed they ordered several and became authorized dealers. after getting home and using it for a few days. My wife took it from me which forced me to go back to the B&M and buy another. and I was so impressed I bought another. then I quickly added up how much money I was saving for the next year for not smoking and spent it in one month. lol. and in a few days.... or maybe a month from now. I will tell you just how cool this story ends. but I can guarantee my story ends well with me in the end having a prover-whatever version in my hand vaping. instead of me still smoking nasty analogs.

thank y'all for kicking the negativity and bringing back the light from which we are here for. the P3 is going to be amazing. and probably will be 250ish. and in a year the dragon version polished zenkote might be 319$ or whatever. but that is for them,. vaping in style, with a good PV everyday is what it is about for us. I am so glad to see all the accessories that are coming with it from the door. and I am even more excited to hopefully see them make a topper for me to put on top of my Provari and complete my perfect vaping experience every day.
