I feel more comfortable dealing with a company based in the US because it's easier to get service directly from the manufacturer that way.
For me it's a bit different because I live in the Netherlands. I also have a Dani (a few weeks tho) which fell and the plastic window broke. I sent it to Dicodes (they make the Dani) along with a copy of the receipt, and they replaced it without asking any questions and I had it back within a week. If something like this were to happen to one of my ProVari's, I would have to ship it all the way to the states and it would probably take 2-3 weeks.

I've only heard good things about the Dani. For similar reasons to you, I prefer USA devices.

Maybe someday some of the authorized EU distributors for ProVape can train and set up a repair person for such tasks. But, he'd have to more useful for it to be economical as he'd be much like the Maytag Repairman, I believe. :)

This is a non-defensive reply!
I wasn't saying nobody builds durable mods...cuz I'm sure someone has a more durable mod in their pocket right now!
What I was getting at, is this:

Remember playing any car/racing type video game?
Remember each vehicle had different stats?
One was better at acceleration, but had lower handling.
One was the slowest off the line, but had the hugest top speed.
However, there was always one that had a fairly equal number of bars in each column.

THAT is Provari.
It's better than some, and not in the same class as others.
But that's the point.
Provari has pretty much created their own class.
The whole thing as a package is what makes it so great!

That's not true. I know a couple of guys who have been using the Dani Extreme -which is made in Germany- for well over a year without any problems. They have all dropped it several times and it's still going strong. It's not just Provape that knows how to build a high quality, dependable, regulated mod.

Sorry...my last post was regarding this quote.

I'm still a n00b to this site, and I'm sure it shows!

Anyone have any quick suggestions for streamlining the experience for me?
I'm on an iPhone...
Isn't there an app or something?
Make it a quick response...
I've lurked here long enough to know things get moved to different forums!

Edit:
Also just had a bit of a "WooHoo!" moment, as I noticed that "Vape360" and the all mighty "qorax" liked my earlier post!
Celebrities (in my world) noticed me!!!

Tapatalk is the app I use. I like it because it has a tab for all the threads I participate in. So even if those threads get moved to god knows where, I don't have to hunt them down.

I hope the 'laugh' emoticon means you're joking. I don't even post here much, but I remember the "best save up your pennies" thread.

(which, by the way--thank you for that thread. it helped me manage my expectations for this [upcoming] device.)

Hi Ozwald,

Not at this time. Sorry :(

Is there any plan to transition new-build P2.5's to the newer cap system?

It would both improve the P2.5 with greater amounts of airflow when using devices that take air through the 510 connector (Cartotanks, clearomizers, most things other than RBAs) and improve the ecosystem for P3-threaded devices in the future.

Wow, just wow. Looks like an amazing device, I'll definately be buying one!

Gonna try to hold out for colors though. Bronze being at the top of my wish list!
I really like the satin silver, but it just doesn't quite match the kayfun.

Meh, who am I kidding, I'll probably get both.

A kayfun ring accessory, with a slight taper and no airflow divots would look sharp!

No authorized dealers in Alaska though... so I'll be waiting with the rest of the online buyers, more time to save my pennies.

With all that clean space on the sides, do you guys think there will be more Dragon type versions in the future? Lions are cool... just sayin... :2cool:

Question for ProVape... If the VW mode is limited to 20W, and the VV mode is limited to 6V, and the device is limited to 5A, and it can fire down to 0.7ohms, wouldn't 6V on a 1.2ohm coil in VV mode give you 30W at 5A, or is there still a 20W limitation in there somehow? The math doesn't seem to add up. Thanks.
