How about the smaller hexagon? The p3 is half as deep as on the smaller hex on mine.

I blew the picture up larger and I'd say the P3 in the small hexagon is not as clear on yours as it is on mine. Send the picture to Provape and see what they say. As a point of reference here's how it looks on my production P3:

Yeah I've finally got a Provari I can use in 18350 mode! My v2.5's would suck the juice out of a 350 in less than a day. My P3 let's me get 1.5 days...I love it.

Impressive, I need 2x 18650 Torchy 3400 mah per day in my beta version.. Seems to drain them pretty bad at 10 watts My P2.5 could last all day with AW 18650 2000 mah, they must have changed the settings from the beta.

I'm actually using a Beta! Hahaha I don't know why yours would drain batteries like that...all I can think of is:
#1. I vape in the 1.6-2.0 ohm range, around 4.4 volts or 10 watts, depending on juice/atomizer (Kayfun, Nautilus, Sophia by Leo).

#2. I bought all new batteries (AW18350) cuz I never used that size in the past.

My biggest complaint with my mini, is the amount of time and effort it takes to lock and unlock it. Click the button 9 times, wait for the menu to pop up. Click the button one more time, wait... realize you scrolled past the Po menu, or accidentally switched it back on instead of off, start all over again... so half the time I just leave it unlocked, which isn't really ideal. Does the P3 do anything to address this? It would be ideal if it did something like 5 clicks brought you to the menu, but by default switched the power to on or off depending on what it is currently set to, and let you navigate the menu from there.

I took a picture with a better camera. Here it is posted below. At this point I'm guessing this is a slight difference between the betas and the release units. I'm going to send the photo to Provape and see what they say. It clearly does not effect the operation or function of the P3, I'm just curious if maybe I got a blew by mistake, (even the best QC in the world can't catch everything) or did they make an some kind of adjustment with the production tubes.

I seriously doubt they made any adjustments between the milling on the Beta vs production tubes. You could very easily just be looking at the minuscule tolerance difference between a new tool insert (the part of the machine that actually does the cutting), and an insert that is at the end of its run (worn out). Add the Cerakote finish to that, and you'll get variations that, while certainly noticeable, may actually still be ok in Provape QC standards.
Personally, I think they should have made that logo, and the words next to it, much deeper...to match the logos (and diamonds) on the lower portion of the tube.

Based on this picture I personally think it looks fine, but the P3 is slightly less pronounced than it is on mine. But if you're concerned at all run it by Provape as their customer service is beyond the best!

I just opened a ticket with them so I'll post an update when I hear back...

Yes please do!
Not that I don't want your mind to be at ease, especially concerning your P3, but I'm morbidly curious to see if they feel you've got a problem, or have a device that is within the standard for the P3.

You could just remove the battery cap, and reinstall...

Voila, its on.

Or just don't bother turning it off, I never turn mine off, I don't know if it has a sleep mode or not, but I've not noticed any less of a charge when I pick it back up, unless it's like days.

I only turn it off when I stick it in my pocket, so it doesn't accidentally fire. Which is exactly when I want a quick and easy way to do it. On other mods, you click the button 5 times, stick it in your pocket, and done.

I realize the single button design and menu system won't allow it to function exactly the same as other mods and ego batteries in this regard. I was just hoping there was an easier way than digging through the menu on the new model.
