We have actually found that noalox can dry out and cause a worse connection so it's not recommended to use that for very long. It can build up in the threads and lose it's conductivity over time. It's suggested to clean out the threads with isopropyl to get all the noalox removed. :)

That's what I've been doing on my 2.5s when they read low earlier than they should.
Unscrew and screw back in they read .2V or .3V higher - clean with iso & reapply Noalox
vape on (I alway hear that phrase in Jimi Hendrix's voice) :vapor:

Someone already mentioned that some spare P3 parts are now available on Provape's site...
Unless the picture uploaded on the site is incorrect, the bottom cap of the P3 has been rebuilt/redesigned...
It is listed as the "stock end cap that comes with the P3"...but the one that came with my Beta is a different cap.

Can anyone with a PRODUCTION MODEL P3 post a picture of their end cap?
Here's my Beta end cap.

I don't have the production model, but here's a post vape360 made saying the end cap was updated for the production unit:

Is this a beta or a production unit?

The spring was updated in the production unit to solve this.

If it's a beta and you have the smaller spring, You can stretch your spring to make that connection stronger. Also try cleaning your threads and contacts as this can make a huge improvement in the IQ value which is related.

Thanks!
But it looks like that's a reference to an updated spring...
I'm looking at a different cap altogether...

Ill take it off but the isopropyl did nothing for the iq score and the battery meter issue kept happening. IQ is at 79 now and no battery issue since around the posting time. Thanks for the tips. Hopefully there was just something on the connectors that got cleaned when i put the noalox!

I'm glad you've got it working better now!
Just a note: Some times it can just be a shoddy battery that makes a low IQ score, and causes other little problems...even an AW. One of my 18350's, Number 1 to be exact (I have them labeled cuz I'm a mad scientist), just one day decided it no longer wished to be a part of my vaping adventure. Couldn't get it to give a higher IQ than low-mid 50's, cleaned all contact points and still randomly didn't want to fire...tried it in both of my v2.5's...same thing...just done. Little sucker was brand new too. Sometimes...batteries just die out at random. Number 1 won't even take a full charge anymore...I'll put it on the charger for a few hours, charger will say it's done, I'll take it off and hit it with my digital multi-meter...and only get a high of 3.87ish volts...
Just a piece of mental floss for ya!
